The Yellow Emperor is the ancestor of the Chinese nation, but also the first generation of "emperors", his surname is Gongsun, the name Xuanyuan, so it is also called Xuanyuan. He joined forces with emperor Yan, also known as the Shennong clan, to defeat Chi You, and later the Shennong clan also merged into the Yellow Emperor tribe. The Yellow Emperor was the first tribal leader to unify the Yellow River Valley, and since then the Huaxia people have begun to form, and the Yellow Emperor is the ancestor of the Chinese nation.

The Yellow Emperor had twenty-five sons, of whom he and Lei Zu (who invented silk reeling and weaving) had two children, Xuan Hu and Changyi. Neither of these children succeeded to the throne of the Yellow Emperor.

After the Death of the Yellow Emperor, Changyi's child, Gao Yang, the grandson of the Yellow Emperor, succeeded to the throne, that is, Emperor Huan.

After emperor's death, his children Poor Cicada and Cang did not inherit the throne. He was succeeded by his nephew, Gao Xin. Gao Xin was the great-grandson of the Yellow Emperor. Gao Xin is Emperor Zhao (喾).

After Emperor Zhao's death, he and the children of the Ju (ju) clan first succeeded to the throne, but they were not good and were deposed. He was succeeded by his younger brothers, Emperor Zhao and Chen Feng's son Fang Xun, who was Emperor Yao.

After Emperor Yao's death, Zen ceded to Emperor Shun. Emperor Shun was actually Emperor Yao's nephew, emperor Xuan, who was the sixth grandson of Emperor Zhuan and Emperor Xu.

After Emperor Shun's death, the throne was given to Xia Yu. Xia Yu was the grandson of Emperor Huan and was actually a brother to Yao. It was speculated that Emperor Huan should have had many children, and the age difference between these children was very large, resulting in Emperor Shun being four generations younger than Xia Yu.

After Xia Yu, the throne passed to his son Xia Qi, after which the throne has been passed on within the direct family, opening the era of the family world.
