Because his father, Sun Yat-sen, was the leader of the revolution, he often traveled around, and the young Sun Ke rarely saw his father's face. At the age of four, for safety reasons, Sun Ke followed his grandmother to live in Honolulu, USA.
However, although Mr. Sun rarely saw his son, he has always paid attention to his cultivation. In addition to the occasional meeting, he often sent some good books to his son and helped him make some important choices through letters. Therefore, Sun Ke's childhood did not lack the care of his father, and he also cultivated an independent character in the process.
Under the influence of his father, Sun Ke's life started very well, and at the age of 16, he took the initiative to join the League and devote himself to the revolution. At the same time, his studies did not fall behind, first with a bachelor's degree in arts from the University of California, and then to Columbia University, where he obtained a master's degree in law.
In 1917, the young Sun Ke returned to China. At this time, Sun Yat-sen launched a campaign to protect the law in order to oppose the dictatorship of the warlords, and another military government was established in Guangzhou, and Sun Ke was arranged to serve as a secretary in his father's Grand Marshal's Palace.
After all, it is a young talent who has returned from school, and Sun Ke has also studied municipal science professionally in the United States, so after he just returned to China, some elders of the League, including Liao Zhongkai, recommended Sun Ke as the mayor of Guangzhou. Mr. Sun did not treat the revolution selflessly and directly rejected this proposal. Until 4 years later, Sun Ke, who had accumulated certain revolutionary experience and had certain revolutionary achievements, became the mayor of Guangzhou with the support of the Kuomintang elders.

Sun Ke is still very capable of governance, and he has also done a good job in the mayor's office, and when his father was crusading against the outside world, he became the main supporter of finances in response to the problems of the revolutionary army's lack of clothing and food, and economic tension!
But then he did something that completely changed his destiny. In 1923, Sun Ke's main task was to raise salaries for the revolutionary army. Once, on the orders of Sun Yat-sen, Hu Hanmin, the second-ranking figure in the Nationalist government, personally ran to the municipal government to ask Sun Ke for military pay.
As an important figure in the Kuomintang, Hu Hanmin seemed to be a strong competitor to Sun Ke in the future in terms of politics. Sun Ke, who had a smooth ride, did not look at it in his eyes, but with the identity of "prince", he wanted to give Hu Hanmin a dismount, and did not agree to allocate military salaries, so that Hu Hanmin could run away in vain and return with pity.
Soon, Mr. Sun knew about it. There is nothing trivial on the battlefield, let alone a problem with such a key aspect as military pay. Mr. Sun was very angry about this, and calling his son was directly a scolding, hoping that his son would teach him a long lesson. However, this education did not make Sun Ke realize his problem, but suspected that Hu Hanmin provoked it. After Mr. Sun learned of this, while he was angry, he also had disappointment in his son, how could such a person with a broad mind pretend to be the world. At that time, the angry Mr. Sun even took a pistol to kill his son, but fortunately, everyone stopped him, and Sun Ke also stood up in time to apologize, and the matter was over. However, since then, the disappointed Mr. Sun has no idea that Sun Ke will become the successor.

In 1925, after the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the Kuomintang ran for a new leader, and Sun Ke also participated in this power struggle, but due to the lack of all aspects, he was defeated by Wang Jingwei. In the decades that followed, Sun Ke worked in the administrative system, but he never got up and down, and could only become a pawn in the competition of major factions.
During this period, in order to oppose Chiang Kai-shek's dictatorship, he joined forces with Wang Jingwei to establish the National Government in Guangzhou, but within a month, because of the financial crisis, the government collapsed. Because of his special status and good administrative ability, he threw himself into Chiang Kai-shek's side.
Although the old Jiang complained with virtue, he did not impress Sun Ke. He has his own ideas, and he also has a position that is destined to run counter to the old Chiang Kai-shek.
In 1949, at the end of the Liberation War, the Kuomintang forces in the country had been mostly swept away, and in this last moment, the forces advocating peace negotiations within them once again gained the upper hand. At this time, Chiang Kai-shek, who was the main fighter, became the best target, and in addition to the persecution of ambitionists such as Li Zongren, the lord and Sun Ke also contacted many big men, which was an important help for the old Chiang Kai-shek to go to the field.
In the end, although Chiang Kai-shek took the initiative to abdicate, the peace talks were not successful because the Kuomintang still held the insincere intention of crossing the river and ruling the country. In this process, Sun Ke has always pursued the maintenance of "glorious peace", and his efforts not only have no effect, but have clashed with Li Zongren's Gui forces, so under the joint suppression of Chiang Kai-shek and Li Zongren and other powerful factions, Sun Ke was forced to leave his post.
Because of the contradictions with Chiang Kai-shek's faction, after the Kuomintang decided to evacuate Taiwan, Sun Ke, who received an invitation from chiang kai-shek to move to Taiwan, was very hesitant and feared retaliation. So without thinking much, he simply chose to retreat, moving with his family to France, and then to the United States.

For this kind of life, Sun Ke, who has not worried about eating and wearing since he was a child, is very difficult to survive. Finally, 16 years later, in 1965, when the centenary of Sun Yat-sen's birth was approaching, Chiang Kai-shek thought of Sun Ke again and invited him to come to Taiwan to participate in the "Centenary of the Birth of the Founding Father", but this time Sun Ke did not refuse.
Although there have been many unpleasant contradictions before, Chiang Kai-shek, as a politician, does not see it in his eyes. In his heart, Sun Ke just lived up to Mr. Zhongshan's high expectations of "A Dou who can't be supported". When Sun Ke arrived in Taiwan by plane, Chiang Kai-shek still gave Mr. Zhongshan's descendants a lot of face, sent his son Chiang Ching-kuo and other political leaders to pick him up, and personally hosted a banquet the next day to entertain this "Ah Dou."
After more than ten years of hard life, Sun Kewan did not expect that he could return to the spotlight, become a pawn of old Jiang, and live a good life without worrying about food and clothing.
After coming to Taiwan, due to his important status and special period, Sun Ke frequently went to various occasions, and two years later, he became the chairman of Soochow University, and his life was finally not so shabby.
On September 13, 1973, the 83-year-old Sun Ke had a heart attack, and due to the ineffectiveness of rescue, he stopped breathing at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, ending his lucky and unfortunate life.
As the only son of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Sun Ke started from a very high point, received advanced ideas and education since he was a child, and was undoubtedly lucky to have his father's shadow in his career when he grew up. However, although Sun Ke has certain talents and ambitions, he does not have the mind and pattern of a leader, so such a large gap has also become the source of his misfortune.
Just as Hu Hanmin commented at that time: Because Sun Ke was Mr. Sun's son, he had a revolutionary temper; because Sun Ke grew up in the United States, he had the temper of a foreigner; and because he was the only son of the Sun family, Sun Ke also had the temper of a big young master. He would lose his temper from time to time, sometimes one, sometimes two, sometimes three!
