Proper watering
During the growth period of Phnom Penh Fugui Bamboo, it is necessary to ensure that it is fully watered and often keep the potting soil moist.
In the hot and dry summer, spray water to the foliage 2~3 times a day. If the potting soil is dry, it will cause the leaf tips and leaf edges to dry up, affecting the ornamentation.
When the temperature is low in autumn and winter, it is better to water the potting soil when it is moist and dry. However, if the temperature is above 15°C in winter, the potting soil should still be kept moist.
Rational fertilization
Phnom Penh Fugui Bamboo prefers fat and is also resistant to fertilizer.
In the peak growing season, apply thin liquid fertilizer 1~2 times a month to make the plant grow more vigorously.
It should be noted that less nitrogen fertilizer and more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be applied to maintain the bright color of the leaves.
