In September 1957, Qu Bo's novel "Lin Hai Xueyuan" was published, and Liu Peiran, the director of bayi Film Studio, was overwhelmed after reading it, and he remembered the past of his unit in the northeast to suppress bandits, so he got in touch with Qu Bo and decided to choose the most wonderful fragment in the novel, "Wise Tiger Mountain", to adapt it into the movie "Lin Hai Xueyuan". Daniel Zhang hand recalled that Qu Bo once visited the actors in the crew, talked about his experience in suppressing bandits, encouraged the actors, and communicated with Daniel Zhang hand. "The prototype of Shaojian Wave is QuBo: 'Shao' means young and promising, 'Sword' means sharp, and 'Wave' is Qu Bo's name. The meticulous carving of details and lines also stems from the democratic atmosphere and consultative spirit of the crew. When filming the scene where Yang Zirong was decided to go up the mountain, Daniel Zhang hand suddenly thought that the small detachment was far away from the large troops, and it was even more important to emphasize the leadership of the party, and such an important decision should be discussed by the organization. Liu Peiran said that this suggestion was good, but considering that there were too many meeting scenes in the movie, he added a line when shooting: "Comrade Zirong, such a major problem can only be implemented through the study and study of the branch committee." Later, in the Peking Opera film "Wise Tiger Mountain", Shao Jianbo also had this sentence in his lyrics: "It is also necessary to discuss and decide with the committee to defeat the enemy with collective wisdom." ”

The film "Lin Hai Snow Field" began filming after the Spring Festival in 1960. By the time we arrived at the Jilin location, the snow in the forest had begun to melt, and in order to create a real snow scene, all the cast members went up the mountain to carry snow. "At that time, the temperature was very low, and we went to the location on an open-top train carrying wood, and after getting off the train, our legs were frozen and unable to move, and we moved for a while to regain consciousness. At night, Wang Run and I lived in a school, there was no fire in the room, we slept on a pile of ula grass, and in the morning the quilt was full of ice slag. Fending off the cold in winter, when they returned to Beijing in July to shoot the interior scenes, the actors had to suffer another kind of pain: "In the middle of summer, they wore leather jackets and roasted fires, and they had to pretend to be cold, and it was full of sweat." ”

It was a difficult three-year period, and everyone's rations were extremely limited. When filming the scene of "Hundred Chicken Feast", the chicken was specially approved, how precious, everyone obviously could not really eat, and after a few days, the scene was all filmed, and the meat was steamed. Rumored to be a joke is that the "silly big" actor Li Po designed a plot for himself to eat stick bones: "silly big man" came down from Weihu Mountain and went straight to the river temple, must be hungry, Lao Dao took out a few stick bones to nibble on him, while nibbling while saying. In this way, the characters are more vivid. Director Liu Peiran approved of Lipo's design, and found a superior to approve four pounds of sauce stick bones, and Lipo began to eat from rehearsal and ate until the official shooting.
