With Daniel Zhang as the leader, Linquan Electric has successively built a national skill master studio, a Guizhou model worker and craftsman talent innovation studio, and carried out school-enterprise cooperation with many vocational colleges in the province such as Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Vocational and Technical College to strengthen the training of high-skilled talents.
One night at 11 o'clock in May 2023, Daniel Zhang, who was about to go to bed after working overtime, suddenly received a notice from the company - there was a part that needed to be rushed out.
He hurried to the workshop, and the technician handed him the drawings and said, "Master Zhang, this part depends on you!"
He took the drawings and carefully examined them, and the technical requirements exceeded the accuracy of the equipment, and the company's existing measuring tools could not detect it...... After three days and three nights, hundreds of attempts and adjustments, Daniel Zhang adjusted and optimized the processing plan, and finally qualified the parts to ensure that the task was completed on time.
This is a norm in Daniel Zhang's work. Over the years, Daniel Zhang has led the team to overcome difficulties day and night, and solved more than 30 processing problems such as "processing of difficult-to-process materials", "processing of ultra-high-precision parts" and "grinding of thin-walled aluminum plates", among which "processing of ultra-high-precision parts" has reached the domestic advanced level and solved the noise problem of aerospace motor products.
Since joining the work in 2001, he has always closely linked his personal pursuit of ideals with the aerospace industry, and constantly challenged the high "precision" and "difficulty" in the aerospace field.
In order to grasp the cutting angle of the tool as soon as possible, he sharpened one blade after another, and his hands were burned with blisters one after another. He learned from books and the Internet to continuously improve his theoretical knowledge, consulted with teachers and gradually mastered various processing skills, and discussed with colleagues to improve his ability to learn business knowledge.
From 2013 to 2021, Linquan Electric undertook a large number of major special series of production and development tasks, as a member of the Communist Party, Daniel Zhang took the initiative to ask for help, set up a "military order", and undertook the most difficult "gnawing" task.
In October 2016, "Shenzhou 10ー" and "Tiangong 2" successfully achieved automatic rendezvous and docking, and it was a precision micro motor produced by Linquan Motor that provided resistance and guaranteed deceleration. With a diameter of less than 30 millimeters and a minimum thickness of only one page, the accuracy of the assembly gap is extremely demanding, equivalent to one-third of the diameter of a human hair. This "seamless" micromotor is Daniel Zhang's skillful hand.
When processing, the force is slightly large, the material will crack and cause the product to be scrapped, the force is small and can not ensure the tight seam, all the processing process completely relies on Daniel Zhang's manual perception.
And this is just one representative of the products he processes. In the entire production cycle, Daniel Zhang and his CNC team have completed more than 50 "Shenzhou", "Tiangong" and "Lunar Exploration Project" series products, with a total of more than 1,200 parts produced and processed.
Up to now, Daniel Zhang has completed more than 20 technological innovations, won 1 national patent, 1 innovation support project for employees of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, 3 summary and refining processing methods, 3 provincial excellent QC achievements, published 3 technical papers, completed more than 200 CNC technology optimizations, and created more than 16 million yuan of economic benefits for the company.
Under his leadership, Daniel Zhang Skill Master Studio has carried out more than 40 skill trainings, 3 skill competitions and 2 skill evaluations every year in the past three years, achieved 100% skill matrix evaluation coverage, selected more than 10 key skills, and trained more than 50 high-skilled talents of various kinds.
