On March 26, Honduras announced that it had severed so-called "diplomatic relations" with Taiwan and established diplomatic relations with China, becoming the 182nd country to establish diplomatic relations with China. Up to now, Taiwan has only 13 so-called "countries with diplomatic relations": Nauru, Palau, Tuvalu, Marshall Islands, Belize, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Guatemala, Haiti, Paraguay, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Eswatini, and the Vatican.
For a long time, in order to pursue "Taiwan independence," the Taiwan authorities have pursued "gold-dollar diplomacy" and spent a lot of money to maintain so-called "diplomatic relations." Now these countries see very clearly that there is no future in relations with the Taiwan region, and relations linked with money have no results, so they still have to return to the right path and rely on China. Since Tsai Ing-wen came to power in 2016, she has lost eight so-called "countries with diplomatic relations", and Honduras is not the last.
The wheel of history is rolling forward, Taiwan independence is a road of no return, and sooner or later it will end; I also hope that Taiwan Province will turn back as soon as possible, return to the big family of the motherland as soon as possible, and have true friends under the protection of China.
