Sleeping in the same bed is not necessarily romantic British media: anti-encroachment mattress to help partners sleep peacefully

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, February 15, New Media Special Telegram British media said that sharing a bed should be romantic, reassuring and relaxed. However, for many people, at night it is to flip over the edges of the mattress or maintain balance to avoid the partner's bulky body changing positions.

According to the British "Times" website reported on February 13, automaker Ford has now proposed a solution to help those who share a bed with "space invaders".

Ford says its "lane-keeping bed" philosophy is inspired by automotive technology. This technology monitors road markings and "nudgs" the steering wheel in the right direction as the car pulls out of the lane.

The model of the bed includes pressure sensors that instantly identify one party off the line, and mattresses that can adjust themselves to get the "intruder" back into place. This mechanism can intervene when couples are not lying side by side neatly and can prevent "deviant" behavior at night. But Ford says it helps couples do "what they love to do in bed — sleep."

Studies have shown that in couples, a quarter of people sleep better alone. In a video taken by Ford for the device, two women complain about their partners' daily sleep habits.

Neil Stanley, a sleep expert and author of How to Sleep Well, said: "When many couples sleep together, each person has less space than a child on a single bed. We have 12 to 20 major location variations. Sleep deprivation is a problem for our physical, mental and emotional health. ”
