Intense warm sunshine, accompanied by dry, cold and low temperature air, this is the norm in Beijing winter. On a working day near the Spring Festival, NewPic conducted this shoot at the end of the Year of the Tiger with the theme of "Celebrate the New Year, Let's Laugh Together".
Due to the schedule, we needed to complete the shoot in two hours, which was a small challenge for NewPic.
But for Chang Yuan, the hustle and bustle of the holidays seems to be the norm - he has to rush back to the company for rehearsals non-stop.
Recently, click on the news website to search for "Spring Festival Gala Rehearsal", and soon you can see Chang Yuan's figure. He wore the down jacket that appeared so frequently that fans ridiculed it as "life-saving", wrapped it tightly, and walked towards the CCTV gate with his head down.

When it comes to the New Year, Chang Yuan has similar childhood memories to his peers. Approaching the Spring Festival, buy new clothes, make dumplings with your family on the night of the Chinese New Year's Eve, and on the first day of the new year, visit relatives and friends to visit the door and say "Happy New Year" to each other.
"What is more memorable is that every year I go to my grandparents' house, adults and children gather together, grandparents take out the prize money, everyone plays games together, divides the team, and the winner wins additional rewards."
The Spring Festival in my memory is inseparable from dumplings and money, as well as laughter. For Chang Yuan, the change brought about by growth may be that he gradually becomes the one who wants to create "joy".
From 1988 and grandpa Chang Baohua debuted on the stage, to now 2023, the Spring Festival Gala has inadvertently recorded the state of Chang Yuan's different age groups in 35 years, from ignorance to maturity, most audiences know him through the Spring Festival Gala sketch "Small Town Events", and then realize that he is also the child who stood next to the crosstalk master in ancient memory with a shaking baggage.
Even if it is a familiar face in the eyes of the audience, for him, practice still does not make perfect, because the Spring Festival Gala is always that tight string.
"I was still thinking about how this year started to be a little nervous, it's quite strange, in fact, every year will not be more and more relaxed, because for literary and art workers, it has always been a report to the motherland and the people, and it is always necessary to attach great importance to it."
When it comes to this year's work, adhering to the principle of not being able to spoil too much, Chang Yuan only left us with a "very realistic" answer: "This is a very watchable 'comedy work'." ”

Chang Yuan said that his personality is introverted and quiet. "In fact, a lot of people don't believe it and often say, 'Are you still introverted?' But it is true. He smiled helplessly.
In fact, in the process of shooting, we also found that he was indeed silent than expected. But there is no coldness and seriousness that refuses to be thousands of miles away, and in him, there is always a sense of intimacy with a moderate temperature.
For example, the videographer will ask, "I hope you will cooperate with us, and smile when the camera pushes over." As a result, when the camera followed, we heard laughter like a pebble falling into the calm lake, which made the surrounding staff who had maintained a "serious face" laugh.

Chang Yuan's humor not only exists on the sketch stage, but also shines in the film and television industry in recent years, and 2022, judging from the number of works, can be said to be his "prolific" year.
In addition to the familiar comedy movies, the agent Da Cui in the TV series "Rock and Roll Flower" and Sun Ling in the costume spy war drama "Fengqi Longxi" are particularly outstanding. Chang Yuan integrates his humor with his characters, allowing the audience to see more charm in him.
But for myself, high production does not seem to be the planned effect, and many times it depends on "luck" to encounter a good script.
""Rock and Roll Crazy Flower" is the first time I saw the director's work, found that the script was quite thin, and knew that it was a collaboration with Sister Yao Chen, and fate allowed us to get together and create this work."
In the face of the script and characters, despite his debut for many years, Chang Yuan has always regarded acting as a very happy thing. This original intention comes from his ten years of behind-the-scenes experience in the literary troupe, as a student, learning to decorate, and hoping to be able to be on the stage for ten years.
"At that time, I played more than 10 roles in a drama, all kinds of dragon sets, animals, props or just one object, so I thought, as long as I can act, I think I am very happy."

Looking back on the past year, Chang Yuan mentioned that his biggest realization is that health is precious, "Because I had a general anesthesia surgery in 2022, and recently suddenly found that my memory is not as good as before, so I will pay more attention to my body in the new year."
As for work, his current achievements have not satisfied him, and he still thinks that he still has a long way to go.
He said: "In this line of work, I always hope to bring happiness to the audience. ”
