The Sri Lankan macaque, with its peculiar hairstyle and cool looking, is a species endemic to Sri Lanka.
They prefer to live in groups, living in forests and semi-deciduous forests, and also like to patronize places where humans live. They are more common in the "cultural triangle" area where sri Lanka's ancient temples are scattered, hence the nickname Temple Monkey.
