Yes, the six-eared macaque and the Monkey King are exactly the same in either aspect. Because what the six-eared macaque represents is Sun Wukong's two hearts, and it can also be said that he is Sun Wukong's demon heart. Only by destroying the demon heart can it represent the success of cultivation, which is also the fundamental reason why Wukong killed the six-eared macaque.
But you may not know that in fact, in Journey to the West, in addition to the six-eared macaque, there is also a "Monkey King". This "Monkey King" can be said to be a pirated version of Monkey King. And this "pirated Monkey King" is the first big demon king that Tang Seng met on the way to learn scriptures.
Tang Seng set off from Chang'an with only two entourages by his side. Outside the city of Gongzhou, he and two of his followers fell into a trap and were caught by three demons. These three demons are General Yin, Special Sergeant and Kumayama-kun. The three demons ate Tang Seng's two entourage, and after dawn, Tang Seng was rescued by Tai Bai Xing and continued to set off.
After passing through the Five Elements Mountain, Tang Seng rescued Sun Wukong and had his first apprentice. In the Guanyin Monastery, Wukong showed off Tang Seng's brocade robe to Elder Jinchi, which attracted the Black Bear Monster.

The black bear monster is a goblin, stealing robes and hindering Tang monks from learning scriptures; Wukong is an immortal, protecting Tang Seng and learning scriptures. The two can't get in touch, and there seems to be no similarity, why is the black bear monster the "second Monkey King" and a "pirated Monkey King"?
This is because, at first glance, the two are very different in all aspects, but in fact there are many similarities. If you summarize it a little, you will find that the black bear monster and Sun Wukong have at least ten points the same, from the body to the appearance, from martial arts to hobbies, from experience to pursuit, from the cave to the heart, from the meaning and ending, both of them are the same.
Through these points, we can completely say that the black bear monster is the second Monkey King, he is the other side of the Monkey King, and he is the Monkey King who is a little darker.

Most of the things in the world, anyone who has nine tricks can practice to become immortals. ”
That's right, bears are similar to orangutans, and orangutans are like monkeys, so bears and monkeys are similar. plus Wukong's sentence "Lao Sun is a beast, seeing that he is a Monkey King, how is it different from him?" It is even more direct to explain that the two of them have the same body, after all, they are both beasts.
Second, there are similarities in the appearance of the two.
When it comes to physiognomy, everyone will definitely think that the black bear monster is black all over. However, although the black bear monster in the original book is related to "black", it is not all like this.

Later, Guanyin Bodhisattva put a forbidden hoop on the black bear monster, which is the same as Wukong, because Wukong has a tight hoop on his head. And the tight hoops and forbidden hoops are all (such as to be passed on) to Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Therefore, the appearance of the two is also similar.
Third, the setting of the two caves is almost the same.
After Sun Wukong entered the Water Curtain Cave, he found that the Water Curtain Cave was made in heaven, with a beautiful environment and a good place. And there are stone pillars in the cave, and there are words on the stone pillars.
But I owe the bridge, and when I look at it again, it looks like someone is living there, which is really a good place...... After looking at it for a long time, I jumped over the middle of the bridge, looked left and right, and saw that there was a stone in the middle. There is a line of regular script on the jie, engraved with "Huaguo Mountain blessed land, water curtain cave cave sky." ”
And the Black Bear Monster's Batu Cave is actually similar.
The walker entered the front door, but saw that in the courtyard, the pine fence was green, the peach and plum were contending, the clusters of flowers and hair, and the clusters of orchids were also a cave place. I also saw a pair on the two doors, which read: Quiet in the deep mountains without vulgar worries, secluded in the fairy cave and innocent.
This cave, after Sun Wukong saw it, he praised "This guy is also a monster who is detached from the dust and knows his fate". Later, Guanyin Bodhisattva saw it and praised it the same.
When the Bodhisattva saw this, he secretly rejoiced in his heart and said, "This evil beast occupies this cave, but it also has some Taoism. So there is already a mercy in the heart.
In addition, Huaguo Mountain and Black Wind Mountain are actually very similar. There are many unicorns, phoenixes, cranes, white apes, lingzhi and other wild beasts and fairy grasses in Huaguo Mountain, and the same is true for Heifeng Mountain. Standing tall piles of snails row color, towering green lane Languang. "The bird's rank red stamen comes to the clouds, and the deer is on the stone platform."
So by comparison, you can find that the settings of Huaguo Mountain, Water Curtain Cave and Black Wind Mountain and Black Wind Cave are almost the same. It is not against the peace to put the "quiet deep mountains without vulgar worries, secluded fairy caves and happy innocence" in Batu Cave.
Fourth, the martial arts of the two are basically the same.
The strength of the black bear monster is very strong, and the first time Goku fought him, it was just a draw. Sanzang said: "How are you better than him? The walker said: "I don't have a lot of hardness, I only fight a draw." ”
Even Guanyin Bodhisattva said that the black bear monster's supernatural powers are no worse than Sun Wukong.
The Bodhisattva said, "That monster has many magical powers, but it is no less than you. Okay, I look at Tang Seng's face, and I will go with you. ”
Therefore, the Black Bear Monster and Goku are of equal strength.
Fifth, the two also like to make friends.
When Sun Wukong was a monster in Huaguo Mountain, he liked to make friends, and he not only became brothers with the Bull Demon King, Jiao Demon King, Peng Demon King and other six people, but also made friends with the Demon King of the Seventy-two Caves.
And the black bear monster is similar, and likes to make friends. When the black bear monster got the brocade robe and fought with Wukong, he immediately arranged a banquet and invited friends from the mountain demons.
The monster shot in a false pretense, withdrew into the cave, closed the stone door, took back the mob, and arranged a feast, wrote an invitation, and invited the mountain demon kings to celebrate the meeting.
Since it is the invitation of the demon kings of the mountains, it means that the black bear monster also likes to make friends.

Sun Wukong's pursuit of the way of immortality, needless to say. In Lingtai Fangcun Mountain, Wukong followed the Bodhi Patriarch and had actually learned the art of immortality. It's just that he still needs to continue to practice, so he will protect Tang Seng to learn scriptures.
What about the black bear monster? Naturally, the same is true, although he is a goblin, he actually has the way of immortality. The Black Bear Monster passed on some immortal techniques to Elder Jin Chi, and Elder Jin Chi lived to be two hundred and seventy years old.
The master of the courtyard hurriedly knelt down and said, "Master, my master is a human. Just because the black king cultivated the Tao, he often came to the temple to lecture with my master, and he passed on some of my master's skills to cultivate the spirit and convince the qi, so he was called a friend. ”
When the walker saw it, he laughed and said, "That old skinner, he didn't lose anything when he died!" He turned out to be in league with the goblins! Strange way, he also lived two hundred and seventy years. I think it's that goblin who passed on some convincing little methods to him, so he has this longevity. ”
Therefore, the black bear monster is a goblin but does not eat people, and is not interested in Tang monk meat, because he has already cultivated the way of immortality, and he does not need to eat Tang monk meat to live forever.
Eighth, both of them have a heart to show off.
Why did Wukong let Tang Seng take out the brocade robe and show it to Elder Jinchi? Because he has a vulgar heart, that is, he loves to show off. Tang Seng criticized him, but he didn't listen.
Afterwards, Guanyin Bodhisattva hit the nail on the head and pointed out Wukong's showmanship.
The Bodhisattva said, "This monkey speaks, so formless! Since the bear spirit has stolen your robe, why do you come to ask me for it? It's all you, the evil monkey, who are bold, selling the treasure and showing it to the villain, but you are murderous, calling the wind and getting angry, burning my Liuyun courtyard, and coming to me to let go! ”
And the same goes for the black bear monster, he also has a heart for showing off. Otherwise, when he arrived at the brocade robe, why didn't he want to hide it in a low-key manner, but instead opened a high-profile "Buddha Clothes Club" to celebrate? To put it bluntly, I still want to show off my baby, just like Sun Wukong.
From this point of view, the black bear monster is the Monkey King who "has the heart to show off" or "greed". In order to avoid this kind of mentality, the Bodhisattva put a forbidden hoop on him, that is, to forbid his ostentatious heart and greed.
Ninth, both of them represent the unity of the three religions.
Is Sun Wukong a Buddhist immortal or a Taoist immortal? Both, and no. Because Sun Wukong represents the three schools of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, his master Bodhi Patriarch is a character who combines the three schools of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.
When Wukong was educating the king of Che Chi, he also said that the three religions were one.
The walker shook his body, collected his hair, and said to the monarchs, ministers, monks and laymen: "...... Today, after destroying the demons, we know that there is a way in Zen, and we must not believe in it in the future. I hope you will unify the three religions, respect the monks, respect the Tao, and cultivate talents, and I will ensure that you will be forever. ”
Coincidentally, the black bear monster also represents the unity of the three religions.
The black bear monster steals the Buddha's clothes, which represents that he loves the Buddha and belongs to the Buddhist family; His friend, the White Flower Snake, changed into a white-clothed Xiushi, that is, a Confucian student; And his other friend, Lingxuzi, that is, the blue wolf monster, loves alchemy, that is, Taoism. You see, it is also the three schools of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.
Therefore, the black bear monster, like Sun Wukong, represents the unity of the three religions.

Sun Wukong's ending is that he succeeds in cultivation and becomes a fighting Buddha; The ending of the black bear monster is the same, he took refuge in Guanyin Bodhisattva and became a mountain god, and it is only a matter of time before he succeeds in his cultivation.
One is to fight to defeat the Buddha, and the other is to guard the mountain, both of which belong to the Buddhist family. Therefore, the ending of the two is similar.
On the whole, the black bear monster is the same as Sun Wukong in every aspect. That's why I said that the black bear monster is also the Monkey King, and he also represents the heart of the Monkey King, a greedy heart and a heart to show off.
