Former DPP "legislator" Guo Zhengliang satirized the Tsai Ing-wen administration that it is necessary that grouper sales are only more than $50 million, and Taiwan earns more than $100 billion a year from the mainland

Former DPP "legislator" Guo Zhengliang satirized the Tsai Ing-wen authorities, the grouper sales are only more than 50 million US dollars, Taiwan earns more than 100 billion US dollars a year from the mainland surplus, is it necessary to suppress Taiwan grouper?

Beginning on June 13, the mainland announced a moratorium on imports of grouper from Taiwan because of the detection of illegal drugs. In response, the DPP authorities have begun "political operations," saying that the mainland has once again begun to suppress Taiwan. In this regard, Guo Zhengliang, a former "legislator" of the Democratic Progressive Party, bluntly said that Taiwan's grouper exports to the mainland are only more than 50 million US dollars, and Taiwan earns a trade surplus of more than 100 billion US dollars from the mainland every year. If the mainland wants to suppress Taiwan, is it necessary to attack groupers? Guo Zhengliang went on to say that the largest exports of grouper in Taiwan are Pingtung County and Kaohsiung City. Could it be that the mainland suspended the import of groupers, and could the KMT be elected county mayor in Pingtung and Kaohsiung? The crux of the matter is that the mainland has tested for illicit drugs, but Taiwan has not. The DPP was immediately put on the platform, but it did not look for the truth, is this meaningful to the people of Taiwan?

Guo Zhengliang said bluntly that if the mainland wants to suppress Taiwan's economy, it is better to directly stop ECFA, and there is no need to start with fishing products that sell so much as grouper. The DPP authorities should figure out clearly how to solve the grouper problem. Grouper is a high-grade variety, the price is not cheap, the people can not eat much, and can not be pushed to the Taiwan army to eat! When the mainland suspended the import of pineapples, lotus mist, and shakya from Taiwan, the DPP authorities called on the people to buy and eat them, and on the other hand, they wantonly pushed them to eat for the Taiwan military. A famous mouth in the green camp even made a wild statement that eating 18 kilograms of pineapples per person in Taiwan every day can solve the sales problem. But Guo Zhengliang has pointed out that grouper, unlike pineapples, is more expensive, ordinary Taiwanese people can't buy much, and it is unlikely that they will be supplied to the Taiwan military on a large scale. This is indeed a difficult problem for the DPP authorities.

Guo Zhengliang is a member of the Democratic Progressive Party and is deeply disgusted by the methods of the DPP authorities. In recent years, Guo Zhengliang has often made remarks criticizing the DPP in the Taiwanese media, and has been jokingly called "green skin and blue bone." But Guo Zhengliang's analysis is indeed very reasonable, and there is no need for the mainland to suppress Taiwan's economy at all. As long as they encountered matters related to the mainland, the DPP authorities did not ask any questions, immediately played the so-called "resisting China and defending Taiwan" card, and left all responsibility to the mainland. In this way, the DPP will not only not lose votes, but will be able to consolidate the basic plan. But will this help resolve cross-strait relations and problems?
