Fist Games sues ByteDance's mobile game company for plagiarizing the League of Legends mobile game

Recently, Tencent's "League of Legends" developer Fist Games sued Shanghai game company Mu Hitomi Technology, accusing Mu Hitomi Technology's "Mobile Legends: Bang Bang", of plagiarizing the content and promotional materials of the "League of Legends" series. At present, "Endless Showdown" has been downloaded more than 500 million times on Android.

Fist said that Mu Hitomi Technology began to copy "League of Legends" at least in 2015, and they carried out a "deliberate and continuous copy", the similarities of the game including user interface and character design, and plagiarized "Red Dead Redemption" promotional materials, including trailers and co-branded Nike sneakers.

Founded by former Tencent employees, Shanghai Mu Hitomi Technology Co., Ltd. was acquired by ByteDance last year for nearly $4 billion.
