Flat-headed ocelot: Or simply flat-headed cat, is a smaller wild cat with a body length of 41-50 cm, a tail length of 13-15 cm, and a weight of 1.5-2.5 kg. Their skulls are slightly longer and the top of their heads is flattened. The limbs are shorter and the ears are short and rounded. Webs between the toes can help them move in mud and water. It is generally dark russet brown , with a redder head and a whiter abdomen. The hair is dense and soft, the hair on the head is reddish brown, while the hair on the body is dark brown. There are also some vague horizontal stripes on the legs.

It inhabits secondary and primary forests, and is infested at dusk and dawn. It preys on frogs , fish and crustaceans. The lifespan of the bred flat-headed cat can exceed 14 years. It is found in the forests of southern Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. Endangered due to habitat loss and water pollution.
