Although the time has come to the end of March, the mountains deep in the forest are still covered with snow, and the two ocelots walk together, and the ocelot walking in front is slightly emaciated, and his eyes are resolute, opening a way for the obese ocelot that follows. The fat ocelot may be in a hurry, or it may be too heavy, the footsteps followed are hurriedly disordered, and several times almost squatted in the thick snow, just when the ocelot body left the range of the picture, a cute little tail remained at the edge of the picture, combined with the fat ocelot all the way to perform, animal protection personnel concluded that the ocelot should be in a hurry to "go to the toilet".
The ocelot walking at night is slightly lonely, its round eyes shine in the dark night, and the picture of its slender body and four-legged snow is clearly visible in the infrared camera. The ocelot in the picture seems to have found its prey, standing in front of the camera and raising its head high, constantly observing the surrounding environment between turns, moving steps are also raised high and gently falling, leaving no trace on the snow after leaving, and the "cat step" is played to the extreme.
According to the company's animal protection staff, the ocelot is a national second-class key protected wild animal, one of the most widely distributed carnivores in Asia, and an important species to maintain ecosystem function and biodiversity levels. Because the spots on its body are very similar to Chinese copper coins, it is also called "money cat". It mainly inhabits montane forest areas, country shrublands and near forested villages. Nests are mostly in tree holes, earth holes, under stones or in stone crevices, with strong climbing ability and sensitive movement on trees. It feeds on rats, rabbits, frogs, snakes, small birds, insects, etc.
In recent years, with the continuous introduction of protection measures by Tianqiaoling Forestry Co., Ltd. and Tianqiaoling Forest Public Security Branch, the awareness of employees to protect wild animals and love the natural environment has been significantly improved. The continuous improvement of the ecological environment of the forest area provides a good living space for wild animals.
