Reading books is very much like playing hide-and-seek | Han Junyao

Reading books is very much like playing hide-and-seek | Han Junyao

The ignorant are fearless. To a large extent, human pride stems from one's own ignorance.

One

In the Former Qing Dynasty's "Shugu Anthology", it is said, "It is reasonable to say things, and there is no basis for it, and it is self-righteous, so it is arbitrary." "It's a common disease of people who read books. This feeling has been around for a long time, but after this concise description, it woke me up again. So, it's better to be careful when speaking. Even the words spoken carefully will suffer from the lack of a solid foundation of knowledge and have to be empty.

There is no systematic theoretical support, only one or two sentences can be seen from the book, and then you can express your feelings. There really isn't anyone but me. Fearless, more ignorant.

Later, I thought about it for a while and had to forgive myself. If I really wait until the knowledge is complete, I will not be able to do it in my life. So, you have to stop and go, talk and laugh. If there is a mistake, it will be changed, and if there is none, it will be encouraged, and the modesty and low-key will be realistic.

To form a human knowledge system, it takes years of precipitation, but also needs indirect experience accumulation. For example, read classic books. As a Chinese, you need To have Chinese culture. The study of history becomes inevitable, because it is the carrier of Chinese culture.

Two

Looking back on the years of reading, just like flowing water, if he hits an obstacle and can't pass, he has to accumulate energy to change courses. Every collision is a trial and error, and you always have to find a way forward to get away with it.

In the early days, I first looked at the historical interpretation written by Cai Dongpan. In a sense, it is verified with the chapters in the Great Qin Empire. Later, reading about the Eastern Jin Dynasty was suspended. Because at that time, I felt that the language was boring and lacking in level.

In addition, in fragmented time, reading such history books with kandle does not seem appropriate. This will weaken your interest in reading history. At the end of the day, there is no sinking of heart into reading. Just vassalial.

In those years, I read a lot of books: "Huawei Decade", "If You're Okay, It's Sunny", "Fu Lei's Book", "The Spirit of the West" and some books borrowed from the library, which seem chaotic. What I want to explain is that at the beginning of learning, it is always so disorderly, but you still have to insist on doing it. There are never shortcuts on the road to learning.

Later, I started to turn. Looking at the "Great Qin Empire" recommended by the company's big brother, I had to watch it for half a year. Amazingly, I felt a little interesting. As it happens, I often travel to Henan, Hebei, and Shanxi, most of which are the birthplaces of Chinese culture. So, run to the local museum as soon as you have time. On the way to work, I will be inexplicably moved by those landscapes and sentimental about those who have been. What Taihang Baxing, Gaoping, Jincheng Iron, Juxian, Jimo, these are all involved. At this point, historical interest was really ignited.

Next, it is time to learn the language. Starting with the Ancient Literature Guan Zhi, I did not deliberately practice. Just read, then read right. Later, it is with feelings to understand the meaning. In the end, I found the relevant explanation of Teacher Lu Simian and went one step deeper. I think this path is in line with the laws of human cognition.

Reading Yao Nai's "Ancient Literary Dictionary" also influenced me, sometimes speaking, with an argumentative tone, sonorous and powerful. Actually, I have a lot more to think about. For example, to read more about "Liaozhai Zhiyi", familiar with the vivid expression of the text. However, the reading part was also shelved. Because it's also quite large and classic. It is not suitable for reading in a short period of time, and it needs to be tasted slowly.

Three

With sporadic contact with history. I realized that I had to find a general history to read. During this period, through the momentum of watching "The Great Qin Empire", I wanted to understand the pre-Qin culture. I once read Lu Simian's "History of Qin and Han". But it was too detailed to meet my requirements for understanding the historical context.

Until I met the "Outline of National History", for the first time I was shocked, it turned out that history can be written like this, there is temperature, there is also feelings. I used to wonder, why do I feel this way? This may be related to my early reading history and practical experience. After a little bit of dialing by Teacher Qian Mu. Dry firewood meets fire, and that's it.

By reading his books, I was promoted in two ways.

One is the simple context of Chinese history and the main characteristics of various dynasties, such as: the System of Qin, the politics of the Han Dynasty, the economy of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the culture of the Tang and Song Dynasties, and the evidence of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Another is that through reading through three times, I became familiar with the vertical version of traditional Chinese characters.

By the way, his subjective analysis of some historical fragments is of great interest. This made me seriously think for the first time, how should history be learned?

To say a few more words, after the interest in history was ignited, according to my current understanding. Forcing myself to read the first four histories: "History", "Book of Han", "Book of Later Han", "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", and "Zizhi Tongjian" must also be read when you have the opportunity, which is a must-read classic for Chinese literati of all generations. In this way, you can achieve superiority and not regret it for a lifetime.

Of course, since you love it, it is inevitable to read more other history-related books. This is very important and helps to promote a cross-understanding of history. But the requirement is that you must read books by famous artists.

For example, Deng Guangming's "Yue Fei Biography" can objectively reflect historical figures while also showing part of the history of the Song Dynasty.

Another example is "Those Things of the Ming Dynasty", which is also very interesting. The basic context of the Ming Dynasty was explained humorously and humorously.

There are also "Jin Ping Mei" and "Ru Lin Wai History", which deeply reflect the social history of the time and are also very readable.

Because of this, I found Liang Qichao's "Academic History of China in the Past Three Hundred Years" and looked at it. In this way, the culture of the Ming and Qing dynasties is generally clear. It's close to us, it's easier to understand, and it's also about which books to read.

In reading, compare, ruminate, think. You'll find the knowledge you want. Reading a book is very much like hide-and-seek, a process of extreme pleasure and requires countless attempts to understand.

And then, to prevent yourself from becoming nerds. Don't laugh, people are often prone to make this kind of mistake after reading some books, which is an unavoidable problem for everyone. So, I read Mao Xuan for a few years. I am convinced of the potential impact of Mao Xuan on people. He will let people be realistic to find problems and solve problems. At the same time, it is also a concise history of modern China. Reading more philosophical works like Marx and Leninism can make people not detached from reality and be more objective and rational.

Four

People's minds will become more humble and progressive as they accumulate reading. It will also be more exploratory and thus find new highs.

So, by chance, I discovered aesthetics. There are many possibilities for the development direction of people, and sometimes they will cross, and they will also be wrong. But there is a phenomenon that requires our attention. That is, many people end up turning to the humanities.

For example, we are familiar with Feng Tang, Lu Xun and so on. Because people are emotional animals, and the wonderfulness of humanity is addictive.

Focus on teacher Zhu Guangqian, he traveled in many aspects before he found his favorite direction, aesthetics.

Aesthetics is like the crown of an animal, stunning; sometimes, it is like a cloud in the sky, ethereal; it is a beacon of humanistic thought, a realm of clarity, and the highest point of man's pursuit of spiritual freedom.

Countless people are working hard to have this realm. This realm has no restrictions on people, not only those academics, but also thousands of ordinary people. You can easily love and experience. It's just that the way is different, the level is different.

To give an example of music, which I like, don't need much knowledge to immerse myself in and be able to enjoy myself. At that moment, complete relaxation, freedom, reaching the state of clarity. So isn't it a beautiful, easy-to-implement spiritual experience?

If you want to appreciate the beauty of such things as mathematics, the beauty of literature, and the beauty of other natural sciences, you need a certain amount of knowledge to support it. It's the usual knowledge that has to be learned. Therefore, we should always learn and lay a solid foundation for us to have more beautiful experiences.

Five

Ignorant people are fearless, I started from hobbies, groped my own learning style in the process, and then the humanistic hobbies are so beautiful, and finally concluded that people still have to learn for life.

I fearlessly used my unbearable experience to illustrate the learning process crudely. There is no recognition from others, only encouragement from oneself, which is an objective truth. To say these things is not to be overly modest, and not to be too modest is pride, as many people say.

Speaking out is a kind of ease, good and bad are shared; it is also a kind of clarity, it is a process of selfless enjoyment.

The above is dedicated to the past reading festival, let reading light up life!
