Youth is a kind of sharpness, which means that courage overcomes cowardice, and enterprising overwhelms Gou An. Appreciation of works
The so-called youth does not refer to a certain stage of life, but a state of mind. Outstanding creativity, strong will, sunny enthusiasm, unyielding aggressiveness and risk-taking without ease are all manifestations of youthful mentality.
One hundred and three years ago today, it was a normal day. The mist-shrouded city of Beijing awakens with the shouts of hawkers walking the streets, leaving a jumble of affairs to be dealt with, and people are busy.
This is an extraordinary day for young people who are about to wave their arms and shout the slogans of history. Sleepless throughout the night, they were to shake the printed leaflets, banners and slogans in the sun, waiting for the deafening shouts to spread from Tiananmen Square to the entire sleeping country.
At noon on May 4, 1919, more than 3,000 students in Beijing gathered in front of Tiananmen Square, and the surging and high-pitched declaration aroused layer after layer of applause: "Fight for sovereignty abroad, eliminate the national thief at home", "Cancel the twenty-one articles", "Return me to Qingdao", "Curse the traitors Cao Rulin, Zhang Zongxiang, Lu Zongyu"!
The cry of youth inspired the masses, who gathered around the road, either clapping and cheering, or contemplating, and the people were equally enthusiastic and confident in the face of such a powerful demonstration movement. As soon as the clarion call of change sounded, it spread throughout the country, and for a time, workers went on strike, merchants went on strike, and endless flames of hope sprang up on the land of China, burning more and more fiercely to the point of burning.
The May Fourth Movement became an epoch-making event in the history of the modern Chinese revolution, gave birth to the great May Fourth spirit with patriotism, progress, democracy, and science as the main contents, and was of landmark significance in the historical process of the Chinese nation's pursuit of national independence and development and progress in modern times.
