On February 15, the 2021 "Tell Chinese Story Well" Creative Communication Competition National Finalization Conference was held, and the judging experts watched and judged the 60 finalist works online in Beijing, Wuhan and Jinan, including 10 finalists in the Shandong Branch Competition. After the collective review and voting of the participating experts, the meeting finally selected the special prize and the first, second and third prize works of the competition, and the selection results will be officially released to the public in the near future.

The 2021 "Tell China Story Well" Creative Communication Competition is guided by the Information Office of the State Council, hosted by the China Foreign Language Bureau, supported by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and hosted by the Institute of Contemporary China and the World Research Institute and the China Internet News Center, with the theme of "Celebrating the Century of Continuous Struggle". The national appraisal meeting was guided by the Information Office of the State Council, sponsored by ciphersia, hosted by the Institute of Contemporary China and the World, the China Internet News Center, the China Academy of Creative Communication of Stories (jointly established by CIPG and Huazhong University of Science and Technology), and co-organized by Qilu Evening News, Qilu Yidian and Qilu Institute of Technology.

The competition has launched eight sub-stations in Wenzhou, Changsha, Shandong, Jilin, Hubei, Hainan, Sichuan and Chongqing, and held the "Belt and Road" theme competition at the same time, collecting more than 3,000 works, of which 170 works entered the preliminary evaluation stage of the national review, 90 works entered the stage of expert scoring and online voting, and finally determined that 60 works were shortlisted and accepted the evaluation of this evaluation meeting.

Among them, the Shandong branch competition lasted for nearly 4 months to collect more than 400 various video works, and after three work links of preliminary screening, preliminary evaluation and final evaluation, expert review was carried out in accordance with the standards determined by the "China Good Story Evaluation Index System", and 25 works stood out. Five works, including "Golden Voice Transmission Of Ancient Roads", "Invisible Warmth" and "Initial Heart", won the first prize; 10 works such as "Follow Me Back to My Hometown, Rural Revitalization Exhibition New Face", "The "Weight" of Life", "Little White Daisy" won the second prize; 10 works such as "I Grow Sea Rice in Shandong", "The Nail That Will Shine", and "I Am Very Good in China" won the third prize. Fifteen works that won the first and second prizes of the Shandong Branch Competition were recommended for the national general review, and finally 10 were shortlisted for the final evaluation stage.

Under the care and support of the leaders of the State Council Information Office, the China Foreign Language Bureau, the Propaganda Department of the Shandong Provincial CPC Committee, the Information Office of the Provincial Government, the Institute of Contemporary China and the World, the China Internet News Center, and other departments and units, and with the joint efforts of Qilu Institute of Technology and other fraternal units, the competition was held smoothly and with unprecedented results, and has become a main front and main channel for telling the story of Shandong and shaping the new image of Shandong. Especially in the past two competitions, the Shandong branch competition activities have been widely disseminated through multiple channels and forms such as Qilu Evening News and Qilu One Point, which has attracted wide participation from the society, has been widely praised by the public, and has greatly improved the quantity and quality of works collected. He also actively applied to organize and participate in the national evaluation conference, and successfully held a seminar on Chinese storytelling strategies in the new era, which further expanded the influence of the competition.
