Children return from school early and are busy taking advantage of the east wind to release paper kites.
In the depths of The Great Liangshan Mountains in Sichuan, there is such a choir. Listening to their songs is like talking to nature; looking at their smiling faces, you will be unconsciously infected, as if you have returned to your childhood - they are the "Chick Choir".
In the latest issue of the "Classic Arias Circulating in Great Beauty and China", the sound of flowing water, accompanied by the laughter of children, the classic singer Moxizi poems and the yokai choir, put the "Spring on Earth" on the stage.
They sat scattered on the small hill, and with a clean and pure song, slowly outlined a "village dwelling picture" of DaliangShan.
The beauty of "village dwellings" across time and space
The children's clear children's voices and bright smiles touched everyone on the scene.
Sabine was deeply struck by this, pristine voice. "With the primordial power of life, like a cry in the mountains, you can't resist, and the sound is so good."
When Liao Changyong listened, tears kept swirling in his eyes. Because he grew up in Aba Prefecture, the scenery of Sichuan's Liangshan Mountains depicted in the lyrics, such as the Jinsha River and soma blossoms, reminds him of his childhood.
In the changing seasons of nature, spring symbolizes vitality, and innocent children are also at the most vibrant age in their lives. When these two kinds of beauty are intertwined in the "Village Residence" written by the poet Gao Ding, what we feel is the childlike beauty of a happy life.
"Grass warblers fly on February days, whisking willows drunk with spring smoke." A few strokes depict picturesque rural scenery, and the words are full of spring light. After school, groups of three or five children rushed to fly kites, full of youth and vitality. A sentence of "busy taking advantage of the east wind to put paper kites" makes the image of naughty and lively, innocent and happy instantly jump on the paper and become the finishing touch of this poem.
And when the spring light is mixed in the poems of Moxizi and the songs of the children, we see a new "village scene" more than a century later.
As Mo xizi poems and the yokai choir sang, "the blue sky geese fly by, the clear lake floods with golden waves, the rushing water of the Xixi River, and the birds in the forest sing loudly", the children also use Yi nursery rhymes to sing their attachment to the land and the mountains. Let such a pure and transparent sound of nature enter everyone's heart.
"Brave girl, not afraid of difficulties"
If you go to the Dagu Township Central Primary School in Puge County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, you will hear melodious songs floating there. Dachu Township, where the "Youyi Choir" is located, is a typical Yi village, and local villagers who go out to earn a living will leave their children in their hometown.
Jib Xiaolong, who returned to teach at home, accidentally found that this group of shy children liked music very much, so he had the idea of forming a choir, hoping to use music to help children open their hearts.
In Yi families, parents generally refer to their daughters as "lady girls". And in the chick choir, each chick also has a special name - "Blue Girl" is as strong and brave as the blue sister in the cartoon "The Smurfs"; "Pretty Girl" is not only obedient and well-behaved, but also has excellent grades; "Sweet Girl" laughs very sweetly; "Pink Girl" likes to wear pink clothes...
Whether it is the grass and trees of Daliang Mountain, or the little bits and pieces of life, they have become the inspiration for the creation of Gibb Xiaolong. He wrote a song for the choir, "Brave Girls," encouraging children to face life's challenges positively.
Music is a key that opens up the inner world of the mountain girls and makes them gradually become confident and cheerful. For singer Moxizi, seeing this group of "girls" who like music is like seeing what they looked like when they were young.
At the scene of the program, he and the children sang "Don't Be Afraid". Moxizi hopes to use this original song to encourage children to continue singing, to have fun in music, and to find their true inner selves.
"The wind has risen, the rain has fallen, the buckwheat leaves have turned yellow, the leaves have turned yellow, the spring has gone to autumn, the mood has fluctuated, the time has passed, don't be afraid, don't be afraid, whether it is cold or hot, don't be afraid, whether it hurts or suffers."
Songs carry dreams, and spring breeds hope. In 2020, Puge County, Liangshan Prefecture, successfully lifted itself out of poverty, once one of the largest contiguous poverty-stricken areas in China, and now echoes the music of a happy life. The smiles on the faces of the girls are more and more, and their innocent smiles and joyful songs are the smart and cheerful strokes on the beautiful Chinese paintings.
In the future, I believe that the children of Daliangshan can move towards a broader stage of life.
