The ancient city of Hasar, also known as the ancient city of Hasar, is named after the town of Black Mountain head in the city of Erguna. Located on the eastern swamp terrace at the entrance of the Erguna River, 10 kilometers northwest of Heishantou Town, Erguna City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Root River and the Delpur River flow into the entrance of the Erguna River, is the site of the Jin and Yuan dynasties, dating back more than 700 years. In the 19th century, Russian archaeologists Krukentkin and others discovered the ruins of this ancient city at the head of the Black Mountain on the east bank of the Erguna River, and took away many precious historical artifacts.

The main entrance of the ancient city
The ancient city sits north and faces south, with a magnificent momentum, divided into inner and outer cities, and the walls are all built of earth. The outer city is square in shape, with a circumference of 2.35 km and an area of 346,290 square meters. The remnants of the city wall are 1-2 meters high, and the highest is more than 4 meters; The top of the wall is 2 meters wide and the bottom is 6 meters wide. There is a moat outside the city wall, the bottom of the trench is 5-9 meters wide and 1-2 meters deep. There are gates on all four sides, and the gate walls are 9-12 meters wide.

There is an urn outside the gate, and there is a horse face every 100 meters or so outside the city wall, and there are tall corner towers protruding from the wall at the corners of the city wall. The inner city is located in the north-west of the middle of the outer city, rectangular, with a circumference of 560 meters, covering an area of 18,871 square meters, with two small gates in the east and west, and a trench outside the city. The entire building is in the shape of a "dry" character, and the granite circular columns on the site are arranged in an orderly manner, with a spacing of 4 meters.

Glazed tiles, green bricks, dragon tiles and green glazed raspberry fragments can be found everywhere. Dragon-patterned tiles and beautifully shaped, colorful green-axis raspberry building elements have also been found. On the north side of the outer city west, there is an inner and outer circular building, the outer wall is 2 meters wide at the top, and there is a south gate with a width of 5 meters. There is a sub-city in the northeast corner of the outer city, with a well, which has now collapsed; Within the northern wall of the outer city there are a series of small settlements.
Dragon pattern wadang
At that time, it was a palace with carved beams and paintings, and it was the political, economic, cultural and entertainment center of the Mongol princes and nobles at that time, and it was also an important military place. In 1986, the ruins of The Ancient City of Montenegrotou were listed as key cultural relics protection units by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and in 2000, the ruins of the ancient city of Montenegro were listed as first-class cultural relics protection units by the State Council. The ruins are of great academic value for studying the origin and development of the Mongols and the politics, economy, history and culture of the Mongol Khanate period until the early Yuan Dynasty.
