The employee, Garrett Fredley, now joins PlayStation as a Senior Architecture Engineer. To celebrate his new job, Fredley posted a message on his Twitter and LinkedIn pages expressing his excitement about joining the new "save" team.

He wrote: "Today is my first day as a PlayStation Senior Architecture Engineer as one of the initial members of their newly formed preservation team. ”

"Game saving was my first professional hobby. This was my first foray into the world of software engineering/DevOps, a world that a lot of people don't know about. I was just a novice at the time, and despite my lack of experience, I contributed as much as I could. Now, I'm back and not the novice I used to be. ”

"Thank you (QA Global Director) Mike Bishop and the team for letting me join this adventure. Let's work together to ensure that our industry history is not forgotten. ”

Fredley worked at EA from 2016 to 2019, where he single-handedly led the preservation of the FIFA series, thus completing complete saves of multiple games.
