Yizheng City has built a new automotive electronics industrial park in the automotive industrial park. Dong Jinsong, head of project preparation of Joyson Safety Anhui Base, told reporters that at present, the global cumulative orders (full life period) of Joyson Auto Safety business are about 220 billion yuan.

In addition, the key projects introduced by Feixi County in 2021 also include the design and manufacturing project of Anhui Volkswagen MEB electric vehicle chassis. The project is planned to invest 500 million yuan, mainly producing welded parts such as MEB front and rear subframes and chassis assembly modular products, and will achieve an annual output value of 7.5 billion yuan after all production.

In Changxing County, Geely's projects have become the main focus of the county's layout of the new energy automobile industry. At present, Changxing Economic and Technological Development Zone is promoting the construction of landmark projects such as Geely New Energy Vehicles, Geely New Energy Transmission and Geely Intelligent Vehicle Research Institute.

Among them, after the completion of the Geely new energy vehicle project, it will form a production base with an annual output of 300,000 intelligent vehicles, with a total investment of more than 7 billion yuan. It is estimated that by 2025, the annual sales revenue of the production base will reach 48.2 billion yuan, and the average output value per mu will reach 43.46 million yuan.

At the same time, in changxing County's South Taihu Lake Industrial Agglomeration Area 10,000 acres of industrial west platform, Geely Ecological Data Industrial Park project is also accelerating construction. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the project will be connected with the data center of Geely Intelligent Vehicle Research Institute to form a cloud resource platform to provide services for Geely's 5G vehicle networking, automatic driving and intelligent travel sectors.

In the vehicle manufacturing sector, Yizheng City is dominated by projects under SAIC Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SAIC Volkswagen"). The city issued a document pointing out that it is necessary to focus on the goal of "first-phase transformation and optimization and second-phase construction" of SAIC Volkswagen Yizheng Factory, and strive to form a vehicle production capacity of 700,000 vehicles during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Previously, SAIC Volkswagen had announced that it would adjust the second phase of the Yizheng plant project to produce 300,000 new energy passenger cars.
