Legend two

A long time ago, one of the worst plagues ever struck in Tibetan areas, with people dying one after another, leaving local tribal leaders with no way to do anything. Until one day, a living Buddha from a distant country passed through this place, and after learning about the local situation, he used a local plant to heal people and prevent the outbreak of plague. For a long time, in order to treat the people's diseases, the senior monks accumulated labor and became ill, and unfortunately died. Because of the language barrier, the only impression of the living Buddha is the plant that he often talks about in his mouth, "Kelsang", which is used to cure diseases. Later, people called this living Buddha "Kelsang Living Buddha". Since then, all the beautiful things that symbolize hope and happiness have also been called "Kelsang". Since then, the most beautiful flowers on the grassland have been called "Gesang flowers".

Legend three

"Kelsang" was originally the god of the Tibetan gods who was in charge of human suffering and happiness. Because of the greed and ignorance of human beings, they wantonly killed the creatures on the grassland, maliciously demanded, and angered the heavens, so the heavens sent the "Kelsang" god to the human world to punish mankind. When "Kelsang" arrived on earth, he found that the long-term war had caused the land to be lifeless and the plague was raging. He made a decision that the gods had disobeyed the Mandate of Heaven to help mankind defeat the plague and give people a chance to reform themselves. In order to commemorate the god who saved them, mankind commemorated him with the most beautiful and happiest thing on earth, that is, the Gesang flower.
