Shenzhen Far East Longgang Maternity Hospital - Department of Neonatology recently opened, after proper preparations, the neonatal outpatient clinic was specially separated from the general pediatric outpatient clinic. An independent neonatology clinic provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services for newborns.

After the baby is born, the first parents have mixed feelings. The joy is that the pregnancy in October finally smoothly and smoothly "unloaded". A healthy new life adds endless joy and hope to the family. Worried about the helplessness of new parents who are new to the road, due to lack of experience in newborn care, they cannot make it.
"The baby has jaundice", "the fetus is not exhausted", "the umbilical cord is falling off", what should I pay attention to?" What should I do if my baby cries at night and has a little runny nose and coughs?" My baby is premature, how should I take care of it when I get home, how to feed it, how to know that the baby is abnormal" and so on. One problem after another arises, and parents are beaten up and overwhelmed.
In order to solve the confusion of the majority of novice parents in the process of neonatal care, considering that babies who have been successfully discharged from the hospital may have problems in growth and development, feeding, respiratory system, digestive system, central nervous system and various infectious diseases, continuous management is required, and regular screening and follow-up by neonatologists. So as to identify and intervene early on potential problems that may exist in the baby.
In addition, due to the particularity of the physiological development and disease of newborns, once sick, the condition changes rapidly, especially premature babies and high-risk children, such as untimely diagnosis and treatment, it is easy to be dangerous.
Therefore, after preliminary preparations, our hospital separated the neonatal outpatient clinic from the general pediatric outpatient clinic. An independent neonatology clinic provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services for newborns. Protect the new life and escort the healthy growth of the babies.
Opened a daytime Blu-ray -Specialty Clinic
"Nine yellows for ten children", jaundice in newborns is a very common phenomenon. Most of them are physiological jaundice, while some babies have severe jaundice and need light therapy to promote jaundice resolution.
The neonatal clinic provides daytime blue light therapy services, which are designed to diagnose and treat babies with mild to moderate jaundice and no high risk factors, and the outpatient clinic can receive blue light irradiation treatment, reduce the chance of hospitalization, and alleviate the anxiety and worry of separation between the mother and the baby.
Previously
For the treatment of neonatal jaundice, the baby needs to be hospitalized for blue light treatment, and the parents cannot accompany them, so breastfeeding needs to be suspended.
Now
Babies receive blue light treatment in the hospital during the day and can go home at night. While ensuring treatment, it not only reduces medical costs, but also avoids the separation of mother and baby for a long time, and ensures that breast milk is continuously fed.
