In just ten years, this "post-80s" girl majoring in law at East China University of Political Science and Law has gradually grown from a mediation assistant who knows little about people's mediation to an excellent people's mediator, and has become the president of the association from a professional expert, injecting new strength into the development of people's mediation in Yangpu. Since 2017, Liu Jingjing has undertaken a total of 1731 contradictions and disputes, successfully resolved 1675 cases, and the success rate has reached 96.76%.

In 2012, Liu Jingjing became a mediation assistant of the Yangpu District People's Mediation Association after open recruitment. Her first job on the job was statistics and clerical archives. Although the difficulty is not high, she did not slacken off, but carefully checked every number and every piece of information to ensure that every document was accurate. In order to show the style of Yangpu people's mediation and publicize the effectiveness of people's mediation work, in 2017, she presided over and edited the magazine "Yangpu People's Mediation", which selected the characteristic work, typical figures and excellent cases of Yangpu people's mediation. In order to make the magazine more intuitive and comprehensive display of the achievements and style of Yangpu people's mediation, she went through all the text and picture materials of the association over the years, screened out the text materials that highlighted the highlights of the association, and selected representative pictures; in the arrangement process, she did not let go of every detail, and the content of the manuscript, typesetting, etc. was revised a total of 16 times, which took 3 months to finalize. It is precisely because of the accumulation of many years of "miscellaneous work" that she has laid down her feelings for the people's mediation and strengthened her determination to engage in mediation work in the future.

Transformation and transformation, competent as a senior "old lady uncle"

Since 2015, she has been transferred to the District Real Estate Dispute Investigation Committee to engage in people's mediation. For the first time, she conducted mediation independently, and she did a lot of preparatory work. On the one hand, we should carefully study relevant laws and regulations and strengthen professional support. On the other hand, she humbly asked other mediators for advice, listened more, looked more, asked more questions, and learned mediation skills. She summarized while learning and refining her own mediation methods. At the beginning of the mediation, the parties are persuaded not to ask questions of right and wrong, to solve the problem as the goal, and to abandon antagonistic emotions. To determine the plan, the parties are guided to distinguish between right and wrong, and to choose reasonable claims on the basis of legal provisions.

Since March 2019, she has also served as a mediator at the People's Mediation Committee for Non-litigation Disputes in the District, responsible for the mediation of family disputes. In the same year, he was appointed as the director of the District Real Estate And Property Investigation Committee and concurrently served as the head of the District Non-Litigation Investigation Committee. Her mediation scope has been expanded again, and in the face of difficult cases such as the division of common property, she not only pays attention to the application of the law, but also tries her best to repair family ties. For example, in a dispute over the division of the relocation funds that she mediated, the plaintiff was a pair of sisters, and the defendant was their brother's family, and the two parties were originally flesh and blood relatives, but they turned against each other for millions of relocation funds. The sisters believe that the younger brother relied on the identity of the contractor to seize the relocation money. The younger brother believes that he has no house elsewhere and needs to use the relocation money to buy a house to settle down, and he has agreed to look at the family affection, giving the sisters 300,000 yuan each, but the other party is not satisfied. Liu Jingjing first explained the law and explained to the defendant that because the passive relocation of the house was the private house of the original defendant's parents, the plaintiff claimed rights based on inheriting the share of the parents' estate, not unreasonable trouble. However, in the negotiation of the specific amount, she did both the work, not only to safeguard the legal rights of the plaintiff, but also to consider the actual needs of the defendant. In the end, the plaintiff was persuaded to make a small concession on the share it deserved, which was enough for the defendant to buy the house smoothly, thus promoting the satisfactory settlement of the dispute.

With the continuous accumulation of work experience, Liu Jingjing's management ability has also been unanimously recognized. In 2016, the Mediation Association was re-elected and she was elected as the Secretary-General of the Association. The transformation of her identity brings her pressure and motivation. She actively changed her mindset, shifting from implementing specific matters to the operation and management of the association, and from doing her own internal affairs to coordinating the overall work. Since 2015, the Yangpu People's Mediation Association has explored self-operation and self-management. In the process of development, the association has encountered many new problems and new requirements. Therefore, she worked with the comrades of the secretariat to carefully study, solve the problem, and formulate the corresponding management system for personnel management, performance appraisal, financial supervision, affairs decision-making, etc., and submitted it to the board of directors for consideration, providing guarantee and vitality for the healthy growth of the association with sound rules and uniforms. In 2017, under the guidance and support of the District Bureau of Justice, the Association established the "Yangpu People's Mediation Work Platform" to integrate case quality assessment into big data management. After that, it organized all mediators of the industry and professional investigation committee to conduct special training on platform operation, and formulated operation manuals and management specifications to ensure that the mediation work platform was officially launched in January 2018.
