In 2014, the Cangjie Ceremony of the Guyu Gong Festival in Luonan County was selected into the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. As the inventor and creator of writing, Cangjie has been revered as a "sage of character making" and "the first ancestor of humanities" since ancient times, and the tradition of sacrifice of Cangjie by the people of Luonan can be traced back to the Light Years of the Qing Dynasty, reflecting the han people's worship and gratitude for the ancestors of writing. Today, the sacrifice of Cangjie has developed into an important cultural activity to enhance the cohesion of the Chinese nation.
