Hyundai unveiled its new Parristi at the 2022 New York International Auto Show. The new car is a mid-term modification of the Paristi launched in November 2018.
As the largest SUV in modern vehicle size, it inherits the practical space of existing models, but by adding new advanced safety and convenience specifications, it has a more domineering and luxurious design, and improves product power.
The new Paristi inherits the existing design while adding a sense of grandeur and luxury. The mid-mesh with the former "parametric design concept" is wider and connected to the daytime running lights, giving a more solid, tougher feel. In addition, the vertically connected daytime running lights are thicker than before and positioned outwards to make the body appear larger.
On the side, the front suspension, which is 15mm longer than the old model, gives a sense of stability, and the 18-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels are distinguished by a new design. The rear of the car provides the most favorite trailer hook for North American users.
The interior focuses on improving user convenience while enhancing the high-tech feel. On the basis of the dual 12.3-inch HIGH-definition display, the touch operation of the air conditioner increases the practicality and makes the center console look more concise. The air outlet of the through-type air conditioner is a popular design element now. The push-button shift design is the same as before.
The seats give a sense of three-dimensionality by adding volume, and the new car also adds more colored ambience lights, further enhancing the sense of luxury.
The mid-term revamp of Paristi pays attention to the practicality and space of the driver, and improves the convenience of the occupants.
For example, the new model integrates the rearview mirror with the camera, and when the driver operates the turn signal, it switches from a simple rearview mirror to a digital camera screen, which further expands the field of view.
In addition, the new car also adds ventilation and heating in the second row of seats, and the third row of seats also supports the heating function.
In addition, the new Parristi includes the "Digital Key 2 Touch", which enables vehicle access and starts the vehicle by marking an Android/iOS-based smartphone equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) onto the door handle outside the driver without the need for a smart key. There is no need for a traditional physical key. As well as video through the connection with mobile devices, a new built-in camera for playback and file download/management has been installed.

The new Paristi, which is expected to launch in May, is equipped with two engines, combining 2.2 diesel and 3.8 gasoline, as well as an 8-speed automatic transmission, and will be released in the North American market this summer.
