【New Zhiyuan Introduction】Domestic meta-universe chip is coming! Now, Rokid has teamed up with Anmou Technology to create customized AR chips based on the core power solution and arm technology ecosystem.
Anmou Technology (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Anmou Technology") and Rokid announced a strategic cooperation agreement on terminal chips and ecological construction for meta-universe applications.
Anmou Technology will rely on the local self-developed core-powered XPU intelligent data flow fusion computing platform and the extensive Arm technology ecology to empower the design of meta-universe terminal chips, and provide Rokid with a new AR solution with high computing power and low power to meet the specific needs of the new generation of meta-universe terminals.
The two sides reached a consensus that they will carry out in-depth cooperation in many fields such as terminal chips, terminal devices, as well as operating systems, software tools and artificial intelligence algorithms, and jointly promote the ecological construction of the metacosmity.
Wu Xiongang, chairman and general manager of Anmou Technology, said that a major feature of the metacosmity is interactivity, which will be more fully rolled out of "data", and extended reality technology is one of the core technologies to provide an immersive metacosmic experience.

According to the cooperation agreement between the two parties, Anmou Technology and Rokid will create a complete customized design, verification and testing scheme for AR chips, based on the core power XPU intelligent data flow fusion computing platform, and cooperate to transplant and optimize software and algorithms on AR chips, opening up the development of a new hyper-domain multi-functional intelligent computing platform architecture in the meta-universe terminal.
Zhu Mingming, founder and CEO of Rokid, said that the evolution of AR glasses depends on the support of core components and ecosystems, of which core components include optics and chips. Different from computers and mobile phone chips, AR chips have higher requirements for computing power and low power consumption, involving high development costs and technical thresholds.
