In the PC era, the evolution of CPU plus process has increased computing power by nearly a hundred times; in the era of mobile Internet, CPU, GPU and process evolution, from the first generation of iPhone to iPhone 13, the computing power has increased by more than 300 times. In the future, such an improvement will need to increase tenfold and a hundredfold.

Wu Xiongang said that the evolution of computing power based on CPU architecture and process improvement has become increasingly slow, and the future world is a digital, all-connected world, where devices are interconnected with each other, and each device has the need for autonomous decision-making, real-time data generation, and real-time processing of data. Therefore, the era of full digitalization requires a large number of new computing, and the new computing architecture is a necessary foundation for increasing the computing power of 100 times.

Anmou Technology won the 2021 World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievement Award

In terms of XPU ecological construction, in July this year, Anmou Technology and leading enterprises in the industry launched the "Intelligent Computing Industry Technology Innovation Consortium" (ONIA), and jointly released the world's first open source neural network processor instruction set architecture (NPU ISA). This "China's first, global open source" NPU ISA will gather global industry chain resources, through an open model, jointly build an ecology, share results, and promote the construction of NPU ecology. ONIA includes representative forces of China's integrated circuit industry, learning, research and other aspects, and the total number of member units has exceeded 100. At this year's Wuzhen World Internet Conference, the NPU ISA won the "World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievements" award.

Since its establishment more than three years ago, the number of local innovation teams has doubled to 800 in three years, including more than 600 R&D personnel, more than 100 independent core technology research and development patents, and successfully released 5 fully self-developed product lines, which have been widely recognized by the industry. In today's era of global computing power demand, Anmou Technology has witnessed the further in-depth development of China's chip design industry. For example, its self-developed products such as NPU have been achieved in a number of excellent local automotive chip manufacturers to achieve tapeout and mass production; the planned 300-1000TOPS hashrate automatic driving chip design will serve major domestic host manufacturers.
