Not far from Moscow there is a very interesting and amazing place - a real alpaca farm.

Yes, this farm is unique because it is only 120 km from Moscow and is home to alpacas, camels, camels, furry Scottish cows, rabbits and many other farm animals, and most importantly, you can pet them and feed them (unless you can't go to the bulls).

I visited this farm for the second time the other day and how much I loved it! The first time I came here was in May 2021, and the second time – it's now April 2022.

Needless to say, things are only getting better here. The farm is growing at a rapid pace, with the addition of new alpacas, and an impressive achievement: the Scottish wool cow now lives here too!
Hotels and camping areas are also being built here, and they plan to complete them soon, when it's time to come to the alpacas for the night.
Now everything is in order. Absolutely everyone can come to the farm, but need to register in advance to visit (by phone or website, everything can be done online).
The cheapest time to visit the farm is on weekdays (1000 roubles for adults) and 1500 roubles on weekends. Right now. There are different offers for groups, children, holidays or group photos with alpacas.
Whether by public transport or by car or car sharing, it is very easy to get to the farm from Moscow. The farm is located in the Dmitrovsky district of the village of Pohodkino. From the metro station Altufyevo exit to Street 5, take the minibus 270 to the final "Gorky Rest Village", which takes about an hour. Then walk for about 20 minutes through the village with pleasant roads.
Upon arrival we always met a farm employee who told us everything and showed us everything, a group of people had gathered. It was in May, it was In April, and there were about 20 people at a time. The average visit time is about two hours (if someone stops a little longer to take pictures, no one on the farm objects).
Overall, everyone on the farm was very friendly, welcoming and the atmosphere was very hospitable. From the beginning, the feeling of our welcome here has not gone away.
What the standard procedure looks like: you arrive at the farm at the set time, meet you, and be taken to the group. The staff briefed the notes and guests could feed the alpacas and visit their fence.
They feed them carrots and cabbage – you can take it with you and give it to the farm. Employees will clean, wash, and then put it in a normal basket. Now you can take it out of the basket without restriction and go feed the alpacas! Then everyone was invited into the house. Here's what it looks like:
There are two floors here, and you can sit on a bench and listen to the farmer's little story about his brainchild. He'll tell you everything — how the idea of raising alpacas in Russia came about, how he shipped them from the United States by plane, how farms were built. The owners were very open and friendly and answered all questions.
The house has a corner with tea, coffee and snacks, souvenirs. Surprisingly, the payment system here is not very standard.
"Rural vending machines" – you put money in a box and take what you need. You take your change from another box. No one follows the people, everything is on the honesty and conscience of everyone.
I saw this for the first time.
You can buy toys, souvenirs, and clothes made from alpaca wool.
I had great green tea here.
After such a short time in the house, everyone went out again and you could see all the animals again.
You can go to the alpacas and llamas in the fence, you can pet and feed them. People have a great time, and it's incredibly exciting and fun when an alpaca takes a carrot from your hand, or when an llama walks around you, touches you with its foot and suggests, "Come on, feed."
There is also a café in the form of a "salon" on the territory, but it is only open on weekends.
The atmosphere was cozy and very friendly. The toilet was also in the cabin (clean, great!). ）。

New - Scottish cows. They didn't come back in May. You also can't get close to them.

Now let's go find the rabbit. They were very active on this day, but on a hot May afternoon, they didn't even get out of the house.
And now they're running around like this, and you have to be careful not to step on anyone, and you have to close the door and don't let anyone run away.
Rabbits can be picked up and petted – a sign that shows how to do it correctly.
Rabbits are docile. As soon as a person crouches down or leans on the ground, a group of people with big ears will immediately stick to you!
They will literally climb over your head.
From here you don't want to leave at all, it's an atmosphere of endless peace and relaxation.
Two hours passed here unconsciously. It looks like we're just passing by, and the third hour has passed!
