"Carbon" to find the future
In order to popularize the knowledge of climate change, publicize the concept and policy of low-carbon development, encourage public participation, and promote the formation of a green and low-carbon lifestyle, on May 14, the Xiqing District Ecological Environment Bureau organized environmental protection volunteers to come to the 3060 zero-carbon industrial base of Fengya Industrial Park, Xiqing District, to carry out the theme practice activity of "Green and Low-carbon, Beautiful China" National Low Carbon Day.
At the event site, the volunteers not only broadened their horizons, increased their knowledge of energy conservation and carbon reduction, but also enhanced their sense of urgency to save energy by listening to the introduction of energy-saving and carbon-reduction policies, understanding zero-carbon scenario cases, watching energy-saving technology product roadshows, and visiting technical product exhibition halls. Everyone has expressed that they want to take energy conservation and carbon reduction as a social responsibility, a concept of production and life, and a cultural inheritance, and persevere and carry it forward.
In the next step, the Xiqing District Ecological Environment Bureau will further popularize the concept and knowledge of ecological civilization and green development, work together to save energy and low carbon, take care of ecological homes, and jointly create a simple, moderate, green and low-carbon, civilized and healthy social fashion.
