On April 5th, the "Zhu De Book Donation Activity" was held at the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing. Comrade Zhu De's family donated 11 volumes of Zhu De's collection, including "Selected Works of Marx and Engels" to the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery, which will be used as exhibits for the political ethics education base of party members and cadres and met with the public.
Comrade Zhu De was a great Marxist, a great proletarian revolutionary, statesman, and military man, who was buried in the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery after his death in 1976. The book donation activity was deliberately held on the Qingming Festival, expressing the remembrance of the revolutionary ancestors.
The collection of books donated this time is a total of 11 volumes, including political theoretical works such as "Selected Works of Marx and Engels" (all four volumes), "Brief Books of Marx and Engels", "StudyIng Political Economy", "Outline and Annotations of "State and Revolution", and military magazines such as "People's Air Force" and "Bayi Magazine", each of which is printed with Zhu De's "Book Chapter".
Through these books, the older generation of revolutionaries have intuitively and vividly demonstrated their spirit of struggle and enterprising spirit of studying all their lives and forging ahead all their lives. This donation has greatly enriched the exhibition of red collections in the Revolutionary Cemetery, and provided valuable historical documents for studying red culture, carrying forward revolutionary traditions, and carrying out red education.
Speaking of this precious collection of books, General Zhu Heping, the grandson of Zhu De, told them eloquently. "These are grandpa's precious books, especially this set of "Selected Works of Marx and Engels", which has been passed down for three generations and has the seals of three generations of books on it. "People's Air Force - Celebrating the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" is a magazine that records the development process of the Air Force at the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and is an important military research material...".
Zhu Chen, the great-grandson of Comrade Zhu De, said that the revolutionary ancestors were the founders of the red tradition and red genes, and as young people in the new era, if we want to continue and develop the great cause of the revolutionaries of the older generation at a new historical starting point, we must learn from this attitude of cherishing time and cherishing time, eagerly learning new knowledge and mastering new skills.
It is understood that the donated books will be placed in the exhibition hall of the political and moral education base for party members and cadres as an important explanatory content for on-site teaching. At that time, visitors will be able to see the face of the collection for the first time and understand the story behind it.
