In 2017, Li Zhijie became a fire fighter after graduating from Inner Mongolia Agricultural University majoring in fire engineering. At the end of 2020, he served as the director of the Nilki Road Fire and Rescue Station in Hailar District.
In the face of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Li Zhijie has no hesitation in fighting at the forefront of epidemic prevention and control. After the outbreak of the epidemic in Manzhouli, the city decided to build a temporary treatment hospital on the basis of the original Zamei General Hospital and set up a temporary fire rescue station to ensure the safe operation of the hospital. Li Zhijie, who learned the news, could not hold back, and he immediately submitted a petition to fight and threw himself into the frontline of the fight against the "epidemic".
Li Zhijie made more than 20 on-site surveys of the hospital, collected a large amount of data through field visits and photographs, and used aerial photography, positioning and computer mapping to formulate 18 maps such as fire hydrant distribution maps, combat force deployment maps and emergency evacuation road maps, and through 3 days and 3 nights of continuous overtime, formulated a 40,000-word fire fighting and rescue plan for the Manzhouli Port Medical Treatment Hospital. He said that the more comprehensive the thinking before moving in, the safer it is after entering, and only careful planning and hard work in the early stage can ensure the orderly development of the duty task after the settlement.
In the 33 days he was stationed in the temporary fire rescue station, he undertook the management work, took the lead in everything, and interpreted the responsibility and responsibility of a firefighter in the new era with his own actions. During the period, he coordinated with the hospital more than 50 times, carried out 4 times of protective clothing dress training, disinfected and measured the temperature of the hospital more than 200 times, and successfully completed the daily disinfection and logistics support of the hospital office building. In addition to fighting the "epidemic", as the station manager of the temporary fire rescue station, he is like a "big parent" who gives meticulous care to every team member. He pays close attention to the psychological condition of each team member and often talks with the team members. Under his day and night work, the members of the temporary fire station can devote themselves to the fight against the "epidemic" every day, and successfully achieve the goal of "zero infection" of the team members.
Chinese New Year's Eve 2021, when Li Zhijie and his colleagues were preparing to cook dumplings at the unit, they received 4 off-road vehicles and 10 people from Hailar on G301 National Highway in the direction of Yakeshi, surrounded by a blizzard, and one of the elderly needed to rush to the hospital for dialysis alarm. Li Zhijie quickly led 6 comrades to the rescue. At that time, the wind and snow were raging, the visibility was less than 5 meters, and the snow was getting thicker and thicker. On the way, he constantly called to inquire about the situation of the trapped scene in order to rationally arrange the strength of the personnel and ensure that the rescue was carried out as soon as possible after arriving at the scene. Due to the thick snow, the fire truck could not get close to the trapped area, so the firefighters got out of the car and ran against the snowstorm and carried rescue equipment. After 40 minutes of intense rescue, the trapped vehicles and personnel were finally successfully transferred to safety. The successful rescue has been highly recognized by the municipal fire rescue detachment and the leaders of the municipal government at both levels, and the CCTV news program has reported on it, showing the people of the whole country a good image of Hulunbuir firefighters in the new era.
