DSCC analyst Ross Young recently shared a new report saying that Apple will start panel production for the iPhone 16 series next month, the same as the previous production cycle schedule for the iPhone 15. This means that the overall plan of the iPhone 16 series has been basically finalized and will still be released as scheduled in September.
According to MacRumors, the iPhone 16 Pro series will get bigger screen sizes. The iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch display (from 6.1-inch), while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display (from 6.7-inch). The screen change in the Pro series this time may be related to the addition of a 5x quad prism telephoto camera, which is expected to be available on both Pro models this year.
For the standard iPhone 16, there may be a new camera layout, but the display size may not change. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will still have a display size of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively.

It is also reported that the iPhone 16 series will come standard with a high screen display, which will be the first time in Apple's history. However, according to Apple's "knife method", the standard version of the iPhone may not be able to support full-blooded promotion, and it is likely to distinguish between it and the Pro in this regard. The iPhone 16 Standard Edition isn't yet sure if it will support LTPO refresh rate adjustment, and may even only feature a screen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz.

In terms of processors, according to the iOS firmware code, the iPhone 16/Plus models will be powered by the A18 chip, while the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max will be powered by the A18 Pro chip.
Probably the biggest update for the new iPhone is on the keys. According to The Information, Apple will decentralize the action buttons, which will be available across the entire iPhone 16 lineup.
The action buttons on the new iPhone may be capacitive and flush with the bezel. The volume and power buttons will also remain mechanical.

In addition, Apple may also be about to bring a new "shoot button" to the iPhone. The Capture Button will be located on the lower right side of the iPhone body and will be used primarily for taking photos and videos.

In terms of battery life, the battery of the iPhone 16 series may change. Majin Bu, a well-known Apple blogger who broke the news, pointed out that the new iPhone 16 will have a 3561 mAh battery, the 16 Plus will have a 4006 mAh battery, and the 16 Pro Max will have a 4676 mAh battery.
