What is autism
Autism, also known as autism, full name autism spectrum disorder, is a group of neurodevelopmental disorders that originate in early infants and young children, mainly manifested as mild to severe social interaction damage and repetitive stereotyped behaviors. The global prevalence is around 1%, and the prevalence is significantly higher in boys than in girls.

How to identify early
The "five noes" behavior can be used as an early behavioral marker of autism communication deficits, and parents can observe whether the baby is accompanied by these conditions in life:
No (less) seeing: abnormal eye contact, decreased attention to people, especially the human eye.
No (less): Young children respond little or deaf to their parents' calls.
No (less) refers to: lack of proper body movements, unable to make requests for things of interest, such as not nodding to indicate need, shaking head to indicate no, purposeful pointing, gestures, etc.
No ( less ) say : Most children have delayed language development.
Inappropriate: Refers to inappropriate use of objects and associated sensory abnormalities, including rotation, arrangement, and continuous visual exploration of objects, such as lining up cars.

Suspect your child of autism, how to diagnose it
At present, the diagnosis of autism is mainly determined by experienced specialists based on clinical observations, combined with auxiliary evaluation results such as medical history and psychological behavior scale.

After diagnosing autism, there is no hope
Many parents are concerned about how to treat autism, the current cause is more complex, so far not fully clear, although there is no specific drug, but there are still a series of scientifically proven effective systematic behavior training intervention methods, such as the application of behavioral analysis intervention treatment (referred to as ABA) and the methods developed on this basis include behavior package, joint attention intervention, natural teaching, peer training, self-behavior management and story-based intervention mode, etc., and the earlier the training, the better the prognosis. Therefore, early screening is of great significance for early diagnosis, early intervention and prognosis.
