Hong Kong, April 1 (Reporter Suo Youwei) reporters learned on the 1st that the "People First, Life First - Hong Kong Anti-epidemic Art Works Exhibition" jointly sponsored by Art Hong Kong, Golden Bauhinia Art Research Institute, Hong Kong Artists Association, Hong Kong Dagong Wenhui Media Group and other institutions has received positive responses from the cultural circles since its launch at the end of February 2022, and so far 130 painters have actively participated in the creation, collecting nearly 200 works, and the first batch of works has launched online exhibitions.

According to Dr. Lu Wenduan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Event and Hong Kong Grand Bauhinia, the event was supported by the Propaganda and Cultural Department of the Hong Kong Central Liaison Office, the China International Cultural Communication Center, and the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Office of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, with Lin Jianyue, Yang Sunxi, Zhang Guoliang, Long Yuxiang, Jiang Zaizhong and other well-known social figures as honorary chairmen of the Event Organizing Committee. Lu Wenduan said that since the outbreak of the fifth wave of the epidemic in Hong Kong, the central government has been very concerned, the mainland has strongly supported, and all sectors of Hong Kong society have worked together to fight the epidemic, and the epidemic has eased in recent days under this effort. It is understood that the first batch of works of "People First, Life First - Hong Kong Anti-epidemic Art Works Exhibition" has been released in online exhibitions such as Baidu, Tencent, NetEase Sohu, Art Toutiao and other media, and the remaining two batches will be released online on April 11 and April 25. At the beginning of May, the organizing committee will evaluate the works, and will select 140 winning works according to the first, second and third prizes, special invitation awards, and excellent selection awards, and will hold an award ceremony and exhibition after the epidemic eases, and the relevant works will also be exhibited at the New Territories Secondary School in Kowloon, Hong Kong Island.
