At the scene, under the artist's skillful hands, the traditional black and white giant panda faded the "old clothes" and replaced them with colorful "new clothes", and the sports elements and youthful style were highlighted. In "The Great Luck of Science and Technology", young artist Zeng Minjing divided the panda into two for painting, half of the giant panda's body is based on the theme of exercise, and half of the body is based on the theme of science and technology machinery. In the work "Shu Dao", the artist embodies the steep Shu Dao in an abstract way, and paints it on the white-film giant panda, reproducing the majesty and splendor of the Shu Dao. In the pen of Li Ji, a first-year research student at the School of Fine Arts and Design of the China-ASEAN Academy of Arts, the paintings of giant pandas are regional, historical and dynamic. She selected four colors such as green and blue from the emblem of the Universiade as the main color of the painting, and spread the color on the panda in a casual and bold way. Among them, the panda limbs with black sports figure silhouettes reflect the dynamics of the Universiade; the main part of the panda, outlining the sun god bird, hibiscus flower, Sanxingdui bronze mask, Sichuan opera face and other symbols with strong regional elements, she hopes to show the characteristics of the Chengdu Universiade in this way, but also contribute to the Universiade a youth force.
Sichuan is the hometown of giant pandas, and the prototype of the mascot "Rongbao" of the Chengdu Universiade is the giant panda. The event opened with colorful colors, combined the cute panda image with painting and other arts, and showed the regional origin of Sichuan's Lingshan and beautiful rivers with unique artistic tension, interpreted the vivid and interesting panda culture, and passed on the colorful Universiade culture.
