The Bugatti Centodieci prototype has been tested in cities, highways, mountain roads and race tracks, with a total mileage of more than 50,000 kilometers, and the final endurance phase was carried out in Nardò, southern Italy. The 12.6 km long high-ring test site could bring the supercar up to 380 km/h.
In order to guarantee a unique driving experience for car owners within 100 years, Centodieci completed a durability test of 1200 kilometers per day in the final test. "Centodieci is deliberately driven to its limits to guarantee reliability at the highest level, even in extreme cases," said Carl Heilenkotter. "Although most cars never reach this range, it is still tested. This is Bugatti's brand philosophy and why we put a lot of effort into all of our tests. ”
Centodieci has Bugatti's latest family-oriented design concept, and although the impression of its classic design is enough for the supercar brand Bugatti, the use of the latest concept makes it look more futuristic.
The door-hole grille is Bugatti's classic design language, flanked by a three-part air intake, and with aerodynamic needs in mind, bugatti's classic C-shaped B-pillar has disappeared and replaced it with a new shape composed of five diamond-shaped air intakes.
The highly recognizable taillights, the large size of the tail wing, as well as the diffuser and the exhaust layout of the two sides, all highlight the ultimate sporty attributes of this car.
In terms of power, the car will be equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 engine with a maximum power of 1600 PS, which can reach a speed of 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, while reaching 200 km/h in 6.1 seconds, the car's maximum speed is limited to 380 km/h, matched by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and will use a four-wheel drive system.
To take into account the need for lightweighting, Bugatti equipped centodieci with a lightweight windshield wiper and special material mirrors, which will help it reduce its weight by 20 kg.
