Those who strive for speed are mostly delayed because of speed: people who work hard and seek rapid success will mostly be slow because of their speed. Anxious to run a red light, he was hit by a car and lay in the hospital; he wanted to be faster, but it turned out to be slower.
Therefore, the gentleman is light with action: the gentleman always treats all kinds of things with a steady posture.
2. There is a reputation in front of (yù) easy, no behind the destruction of difficulties; there is a zhà (zhà) to make friends easy, there is no long-term boredom
It is easy to have a reputation in front of you, but it is difficult to have a praise in front of you, but it is difficult to have a slander behind it; so for those gossip, it doesn't matter, let him say it; that is, Zhou Xitao's sentence in "Augmenting the Sages": Whoever has no one behind him says it, and who does not say it behind his back. Every time you are slandered, you have to explain it clearly, and you are tired and tired.
It is easy to have friends at first, but it is not difficult to be bored for a long time: when you first start a relationship, it is easy to feel happy; but after a long time together, it is difficult not to get tired. Many couples are sweet at the beginning; over time, both parties begin to look unpleasant.
3. In the affairs of the universe, we must bear the responsibility and get rid of it; if we do not take responsibility, there is no cause of the world, and if we do not get rid of it, there is no period of birth (jīn).
In the affairs of the universe, we must bear the burden and get rid of it well: the things in the world must be borne hard and good at getting rid of them; those that should be let go must not hesitate to let go, and do not waste our minds and do those dusty things because of this.
It is very difficult to pursue a girl, the other party obviously does not like you, and still pesters each other all day; it is better to let go early, and everyone lives a relaxed life.
If you don't take responsibility, you won't have the cause of the world: If you don't have responsibility, you will inevitably not be able to achieve the cause of the world.
If you don't get rid of it, there is no period of birth: if you don't get rid of it, you won't have a mind that transcends the world.
4. If there is nothing to do, the embankment can be changed unexpectedly (mǐ); if there is nothing to be calm, it can be sold (xiāo) in danger
If there is nothing to do, the embankment can be changed by accident: when there is nothing to do, be on guard everywhere as when there is something, and act cautiously to prevent unexpected changes. Prepare in advance, and when faced with difficulties, you will be able to do it calmly.
Calm when there is nothing to do, you can cancel the danger in the situation: when there is something, be as calm as when there is nothing, and eliminate the crisis in the changing situation.
5. Love is the root of all circumstances, and it is necessary to know and give up; knowledge is the root of all desires, and it is necessary to sweep away
Love is the root of all fates, when you know to give up: love is the root of all fates, you must know the renunciation; Taiwan's master Li Ao's suggestion: only love a little; if there is only love in your head, then other things in life do not have to be done; you will also be led by love for a lifetime.
Consciousness is the root of all desires, and it is necessary to sweep away: consciousness is the source of desire, desire for wealth, desire for fame, desire for love, desire for appetite, and strive to eliminate it.

The reason why ugly behavior in society continues is because people's minds are full of all kinds of thoughts of competing for fame and profit.
The troubles of the world are all because of these greedy thoughts, which are reluctant to let go, and they are painstakingly pursued and never get them.
As long as there are fewer desires, there will be fewer troubles; if you blindly pursue what you shouldn't get and enjoy what you shouldn't enjoy, you can't enjoy inner ease and peace.
To be a man, you must have integrity, you must be able to endure poverty and loneliness; you may not be proud of the spring breeze, but you do not have to be ghostly every day, so that you are suspicious of gods and ghosts, and the grass and trees are soldiers.
Finally, we should always adhere to the bottom line of doing things; in the vast sea of people, we will not lose the direction of life.
