In spring, in the forest of Meicheng Park in Pingyin County, Jinan City, there are low plants, emerald green leaves, and bunches of blue-purple flowers. Warm sunlight, scattered through the gaps in the branches, they loom in the light and shadow; a breeze blows across their waists, and the dance emerges with enthusiasm and romance, revealing dignity and elegance in the demeanor.
Zhuge Cai, yes, this beautiful flower is called "Zhuge Cai". Isn't it a name that easily evokes people's ideas? Behind the names of places, people, or plants, there are beautiful wishes or stories hidden behind each name, and Zhuge Cai is no exception. According to legend, Zhuge Cai was originally just a nameless wild grass, during the Three Kingdoms period, the crowd competed for hegemony, Zhuge Liang led the Shu army to the Northern Expedition, suddenly encountered a shortage of grain and grass, the soldiers found a wild vegetable in the mountains with tender stems edible, so Zhuge Liang ordered the promotion of this dish in the army, thus surviving the crisis. Later, this wild vegetable was named "Zhuge Cai", and some people called it "Salvation Army Food".
Because it began to bloom blue-purple flowers around February of the lunar calendar, it was called "February Blue".
Perhaps in the inheritance of memory, they have long hidden the merits of past wars.
