In fact, like this situation, Yaoyao I still encountered more, cheaper than the market price of the defective car, in the second-hand car industry is indeed a lot, but it is certainly necessary to combine the size of the vehicle problem and the price to see the value is not worth buying.
Yaoyao I arrived at the testing location according to the agreed time, the customer's big brother has not yet arrived, he let me directly start the test, he and the seller said good. I looked for a long time did not see the seller, the result was that he was sitting in the car did not know what to do, after he saw me outside wandering around, estimated that I guessed that I was here to test, took the initiative to greet me to give me the key to let me start to look at the car, and instructed me to look good, do not miss the wrong check, do not look at the wrong customer to find him. Then detected that the paint value of the cover is 39.9 microns, which is significantly lower than the original paint standard, according to Yaoyao my testing experience, the original paint value of the S90 is about 140 microns, and the cover screws are disassembled, which can basically determine that the cover has been replaced.
And the net and the water tank are also disassembled, and the factory date is 2021, about three years later than the vehicle factory date, no need to explain, determine the replacement; the two headlights of the vehicle are delivered in 2020, one is 2021, and they are also replaced. Seeing this, I know that this car is a bit of a story, and let's see if there are any other replacement parts.
Looking through the gap to observe the fixing screw of the front anti-collision beam, it was found that there were obvious two-way force marks, which were obviously disassembled, but the anti-collision beam had no traces of deformation repair. Considering that the anti-collision beam is generally not disassembled without impact, it can be basically judged that the previous anti-collision beam has also been replaced.
The left front fender has been disassembled, partial sheet metal repair, but there are no spray paint marks inside, which can be determined to be disassembly repaired, not replaced.
The paint value of the left front and rear doors and rear fenders is about 200 microns, which is nearly double the value of the original car, and there are residual particles of spray paint on the surface, and the spray paint is determined.
The back cover screw has disassembly marks, and the paint value is lower than the original car paint value, the sealant is softer, in line with the replacement characteristics, and it is determined that the back cover has also been replaced.
Since the back cover has been replaced, it means that the impact force at that time was very large, now to check the rear wall, found that there is obvious irregular sealant, but the rear wall plate is not deformed, this situation is generally considered cutting replacement caused.
And there is also a putty repair on the right C pillar, because the C pillar belongs to the body structure, so this car can already be classified as an accident car. Seeing this, it can be basically determined that this car has had an accident before and after, as for the more specific damage, it is necessary to look at the chassis to know, let's check the engine compartment first.
This T5 version of the Volvo S90, equipped with a 2.0T high-power engine, the maximum horsepower of 254, the maximum torque of 350N·m, matching the 8AT gearbox, the overall power data is still very good, of course, compared with the current new energy T8 is definitely a lot worse. Open the cabin, you can see that the engine compartment surface is clean and tidy, and it is certain that it is cleaned and prepared by the seller, but the overall is decent, there is no obvious damage and repair, oil leakage marks.
The top paint of the shock absorber tower is smooth, there is no wrinkle knocking repair marks, and the peripheral accessories are not disassembled, which can rule out the suspicion of serious accident impact on both sides; the front end of the longitudinal beam on both sides also has no distortion and deformation phenomenon, so the impact of the front part does not cause damage to the body structure.
Then check that the engine feet are not disassembled, the rubber sleeve is not aging, and it is determined that the engine is not hoisted and repaired; the valve room cover is not disassembled and oil leaking; and there are no traces of disassembly and maintenance of the engine accessories. The current state of the engine looks good, let's take a look at the interior.
Sitting in the cab, you can see that although this Volvo S90 is a high-end version, it does not look so luxurious, it seems that Volvo is not so good at doing luxury interiors, but the overall material of the interior is still very good, and the cockpit is clean and tidy, there is no obvious abnormal wear and odor, including the steering wheel 3 to 9 o'clock direction is not seriously worn, it looks and the number of meters of the table is not much different. Let's take a look at the details now.
Due to the installation of fully enclosed foot pads, the seats need to be disassembled, but there is no sediment inside the carpet, and the seat frame and electronics are not rusted.
And the factory date of the whole car seat belt is consistent with the date of the vehicle nameplate, the screws are not disassembled, and the seat belt is determined to be in the original state; the steering pipe column does not have rust and polish marks. Next, after using the diagnostic instrument to detect the body OBD driving computer board, the results showed that there were multiple fault codes, and I looked at it basically because of the removal of the seat unplugging plug, and the problem was not big.
The following vehicle to the nearby repair shop for shelf test chassis, after the car rises, you can see that the chassis is decent, there is no obvious bottom and oil leakage, the overall is relatively dry.
Check the engine from the chassis again, and you can see that the engine oil pan and surrounding accessories are not disassembled and repaired.
The gearbox is the same, there is no trace of disassembly and oil leakage, it seems that the quality of Volvo is still quite good ~ look at the suspension.
It can be seen that the suspension of the whole car is not deformed and twisted, the fixing screws are not disassembled, the rubber sleeve is not aging, there is no oil leakage trace, and the state is leveraged.
The four tires are replaced by the tires that left the factory last year, the current wear is not very serious, and it can continue to be used for tens of thousands of kilometers, from the point of view of the time and the 80,000 kilometers shown on the card, in line with the replacement cycle, there is no problem.
Since when I checked the appearance in the front, I found that there were accidents before and after, so I checked the four longitudinal beams from the chassis, and I could see that there were no deformation repair marks and no replacement. So overall, there are accidents in front of and behind this car, the paint surface is not very good, and the front is fine, but there is a set of replacement of the front mouth, the back of the rear wall plate cutting replacement, the right side of the C-pillar putty repair, has been more serious. Fortunately, the stringers are not damaged, and if the C-pillar is repaired, the impact on the safety of the vehicle is not very large.
Then I told the customer brother about the detected situation, he said that as long as the stringer is not damaged, there is no problem, and the C-pillar sheet metal is not a particularly serious problem, plus the probability of accidents from the back is also very small, rounding equals no problem, and finally he agreed to buy the car in installments for 230,000, and I don't know what to say. Yaoyao I said that the customers I met before are generally the problems of picking up the car, and I have never seen such a generous customer! Is it okay to persuade yourself? I have to say that the customer's big brother mentality is really good, but it is also possible that the car is cheap enough.
It can be seen that the same Volvo S90, in good condition, the retail price of the car dealer is about 255,000.
