"From Miura and Countach to Aventador Ultimae, the V12 engine has always been at the heart of these iconic models in the history of the Lamborghini brand, and the legend of the internal combustion engine will come to an end this year." Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said. "Car culture enthusiasts join us at the Antique Car Show to pay tribute to Lamborghini's cherished heritage and the rich and sophisticated expertise of the engineers. Starting next year, Lamborghini will enter an electrified future: according to the Direzione Cor Tauri development plan for 2030, the hybrid Aventador successor will be launched in the first phase of the plan. The development plan aims to reduce its impact on the environment through comprehensive and socially responsible initiatives. ”

Clad in the original "Giallo Fly Speciale" (yellow) paint, the Countach LP 500 on display is based on a remodeled version of the legendary Countach LP 500, which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1971 and was scrapped in March 1974 during crash tests for model certification. The remodeling project was created for a collector by the Lamborghini Polo Storico Classic Car Restoration Center and took around 25,000 hours, and the Centro Stile Design Center lamborghini also played a crucial role in the contours of the body – ensuring that everything was in line with the original style. All of the mechanical parts were derived from restorations at the time, or were rebuilt from parts that no longer exist or were made specifically for the model. The body and chassis were completely reconstructed by hand by a team of experts. At the same time, Pirelli also joined forces to remodel the tyres, and its foundation provided all the archival materials needed to rebuild the tyres that were in line with the design and dimensions of the time and obtained highway compliance approvals.

A privately collectible Miura P400 SV was exhibited on the same stage. Its owner asked the Lamborghini Polo Storico Classic Car Restoration Center for the purpose of collection preservation. The car will be repainted with the original "Arancio Miura" (orange) paint, and the interior and mechanical parts currently under restoration will also be put in place.
