The UFC 275 tournament, which will be held in Singapore on June 11, has a new middleweight showdown, with Rising American Star Brandon Allen playing against Australian rookie Jacob Marquew.
Brandon Allen (18-5, 5 K, 10 S) is 26 years old and has a height of 188cm arm span of 191cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2015, won the VF MiddleWeight Championship in 2016, won the LFA MiddleWeight Championship in 2018, defended the title once in 2019, then won the first set of the White Dana Draft, joined the UFC at the end of the year with a (12-3) result and four consecutive wins, and has achieved (6-2) results in the UFC so far. He started with a three-game winning streak, but was suspended in November 2020 by Sean Strickland's second-set TKO defeat. He defeated Karl Roberson in the first set in April 2021, beat Punahele Soriano in July, and lost to Chris Curtis in the second TKO in December. Just after the second inning in February this year, Sam Alvey was surrendered.
Jacob Marqueen (6-1, 2 K, 0 S) is 26 years old and has a height of 175cm and an arm span of 185cm. He started his professional MMA voice in 2017 and joined the UFC tournament in 2020 with a (4-0) result, regretting that his debut at the UFC was defeated by Phil Hawes in the first leg of the 18-second KO and suffered the first career defeat. The most recent two-game winning streak was last April with a points victory over "judo Thor" Abdul Razak Alhassan and just now AJ Dobson in February.
The headline main event was UFC light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira (33-7, 18 K, 10 S) against challenger Giri Prohazka (28-3-1, 25 K, 2 S). The joint main event was UFC women's flyweight champion Valentina Shepchenko (22-3, 8 K, 7 S) against challenger Terra Santos (19-1, 10 K, 3 S).
