Up to this point, what MTK and Tianji 9000 lack is the support of terminal manufacturers, and the Tianji 9000 chip is installed on a real flagship mobile phone.

As for why OPPO chose the Tianji 9000 to put into the flagship mobile phone, MTK and the relevant person in charge of OPPO jointly organized an interview to answer everyone's questions about this cooperation. The president of oppo Find product line commented on the advantages of the Tianji 9000:

This cooperation also has a background that has to be said: in 2021, the largest customer in the number of MTK mobile phone chip shipments is OPPO, although it is mainly concentrated on mid-range models, but the relationship between the two is not close, and both have a "high-end" task.
Of course, the cooperation between the two sides on the flagship aircraft for the first time is not impeccable. For example, OPPO spent a lot of money to develop the image of the NPU Mariana X is not used in the Find X5 Pro Tianji edition. In this regard, Li Jie explained:

So regarding the cooperation between Mariana and Tianji platform, everyone can look forward to it this year.
The implication is that there is none now, there will be in the future. Although this NPU will grab some of the work of the Tianji 9000, it can also bring a higher premium to the mobile phone, helping the MTK chip continue to stand at the high end.
