The Verge decided to use the Geekbench 5 graphics test to compare the performance of the M1 Ultra with the RTX 3090. Unsurprisingly, when it's running at full power, it really can't compete with the NVIDIA RTX3090, and the Mac Studio beats the 16-core Mac Pro, which is about half the performance of the RTX 3090. Of course, this data is actually very surprising.
The M1 Ultra is also very impressive in other ways, but it is not clear that Apple must emphasize the above comparison chart, after all, this is also a somewhat misleading ingredient, or it may just be that Apple did not consider the full range of Nvidia.
