Ives also said on Yahoo Finance Live earlier today that rising inflation and the rapid rise in nickel prices are the main reasons for this price correction: "I think they will announce in the next two weeks that there may be another price increase, and they will pass [inflation] on to consumers."

In addition, the analyst also added that the side effects of this price increase will not have a significant impact on Tesla, because the current user demand for its vehicles has exceeded its supply of about 40%, even if the order reduction is not significant.
