The Patcher, a multiplayer action VR game developed by Pixelity Games, is undergoing a second round of public beta on Steam after successfully completing Kickstarter crowdfunding.
It is understood that the plot of "The Patcher" revolves around the two major factions of "Junkmol" and "Skymagg" in the post-apocalyptic world, with both shooting combat and tactical elements, supporting players to use various weapons and skills based on PvE, PvP and even PvPvE mode, and this round of testing will provide three new game modes: "Deathmatch", "BOSS Raid" and "Battlefield".
Deathmatch is a 4v4 PvP game mode where players can choose to join the Junkmol or Skymagg faction for duels; battlefield mode allows players to hunt various monsters and obtain rare items to enhance weapons, players can practice hunting while waiting for boss raids or deathmatch queues; and Boss Raid mode is a large PvPvE 4v4 battle mode.
It is reported that "The Patcher" was unveiled in Steam Next Fest in June last year, and opened the first round of public beta in the same year, and now the second round of beta is open, in addition to the three major modes, the beta version will also add new updates including new skills, weapons, and proficient systems.
In addition, players will receive double xp during the second round of public beta, and there will be a corresponding bonus when the game reaches level 10. Pixelity Games said the full version of The Patcher is scheduled to be released later this year.
