Recently, Toyota has updated the automatic driving assistance system for its new Mirai model, and the body is equipped with more sensors, so that the new car can also automatically drive at high speed. The new system mainly uses a lidar, positioning camera and long-range camera to detect the surrounding environment, and the driver assistance function is currently only L2 level, which can be upgraded to L3 level through OTA. The new system is divided into Two systems, Advanced Park and Advanced Drive, of which the Advanced Park system is standard and will allow the vehicle to steer, accelerate, overtake, brake, shift and stop, while the Advanced Drive system is optional and allows the vehicle to drive autonomously in certain conditions on the highway.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.24kW·h lithium-ion battery and three carbon fiber reinforced hydrogen storage tanks that power fuel cells, and the maximum power of the new car is 134kW, the peak torque is 300N·m, 9.2 seconds to break the hundred, and the maximum cruising range is 647 kilometers.
