This online exhibition is the first time to sort out the artistic and academic context of comprehensive material painting in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the large-scale works present a systematic and comprehensive comprehensive material painting context for the audience, as a unique national-level "comprehensive material painting course" for the popularization and dissemination, pushing China's comprehensive material painting to a higher level, a wider pattern and a broader vision.

The online exhibition is composed of three sections: "Specially Invited Consultant Works", "National Invited Works" and "Invitation works by Artists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area", focusing on the overall appearance of the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" comprehensive material painting, radiating nationwide comprehensive material painting, and comprehensively displaying the innovative vitality, artistic dimension thinking, and level of creation of comprehensive material art in the cities of the Bay Area.
With the theme of "Pulse", the exhibition provides a new academic exchange platform for artists in the cultural and artistic circles between cities in the Bay Area, Hong Kong, Macao and the Mainland, and invites special artists such as Xu Deming, Li Gang, Wu Shoufeng, Batu, Wei Huidong, Hu Yi, Yang Yang, Yu Tao, Yu Yang, Liu Qing, etc., as well as hong yao, Zou Ming, Xu Jiao, Wu Yihan, Yan Jingliang, Liu Ke and other special artists in the Greater Bay Area and their works.

Curator Wu Yihan said that the exhibition breaks the geographical boundaries, rooted in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, radiates the whole country, takes the three age stages of "old, middle and young" as the clue, invites artists from cities in the Bay Area and the whole country, they exchange with comprehensive material works in this online exhibition, collide with new sparks, show the academic context and artistic achievements of comprehensive material works in recent years, the majority of artists in the comprehensive material painting creation of artistic exploration and academic propositions, but also try to open up the new era, the new context of the artistic context. It shows that the culture and art of the Bay Area are in the same direction and resonance with the times, and at the same time meet the keen attention of all sectors of society for comprehensive material painting. In recent years, they have thoughts on the world, the country, society, philosophy and culture, using comprehensive materials as a carrier, into figurative or abstract images with personal styles, describing profound humanistic feelings and artistic ideas.

According to the organizers, the holding of the "Pulse - Online Invitation Exhibition of Comprehensive Material Painting Works in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in 2022" provides a possibility and direction for the development of comprehensive material painting, and explores the infinite with limited. Once the exhibition was launched, it has quickly set off a wave of discussion in the academic circle and the art circle, grasping the theme and core point of "pulse", and many professionals have sorted out and presented their works through the context of this exhibition, from which they have derived the artistic research issues of the comprehensive material painting in the Bay Area on form, narrative mode, internal logic, creative content, form and boundary, etc., and have become the hot discussion point of a new round of comprehensive material painting.
