The "Epitaph of Yuan Ze", carved on the seventh day of the seventh month of the second year of Xiaochang of the Northern Wei Dynasty (526), is 52 cm high and 52.5 cm wide. Zhiwen has a total of 13 lines, 20 lines, and is written in the main book. According to Guo Yutang's "Record of the Time and Place of The Stone Carvings Unearthed in Luoyang", Yuan Ze's epitaph was excavated on the third day of the first month of March in the eighteenth year of the Republic of China (April 12, 1929), and the Luoyang Municipal Cultural Relics Task Force collected the Tuoben.
The first volume of the Han Wei Southern and Northern Dynasties Epitaphs (General Catalogue No. 87) has an explanation of the interpretation of "Yi Gong", and the third volume is accompanied by a Zhiwen plate (No. 87); the Selected Epitaphs of northern Wei excavated from Luoyang (p. 108) also has an illustrated version. This chronicle and the "Epitaph of Yuan Yu" can correct the history and expand the genealogy of the Northern Wei sect.
