Among them, hooking, rubbing, dyeing, dots, etc. can be said to be the most basic techniques, and the following is explained on the dyeing method of Chinese painting techniques.
"Dyeing" is to use a color pen and a water pen at the same time, first coloring the pen, and then using the pen to bake the color open, so that its hue fades or thickens the brushwork, generally there are four different dyeing methods: set dyeing, spot dyeing, cover dyeing, dyeing, the specific introduction is as follows.
Over-dyeing
When painting, mainly when painting flowers and birds, different colors are dyed in succession, that is, when the first color is dyed, after it is dried, it is dyed with another color, so it is gradually dyed, so it is called set dyeing.
When dyeing, be sure to follow the direction of the previous dyeing, and from thick to light, from small area to large area, dyeing a three-dimensional sense of the object.
As a result of the overtarching, it is possible to obtain the color mixed by several colors dyed, such as indigo and locust flowers can be dyed into official green or oil green; indigo and yellow millet can be dyed to get cyan; indigo and reed, arbutus bark can be dyed into dark color and so on.
Spot dyeing

The dot dye here is the latter. That is to say, a technique used by painters in painting: first use a brush to dip some lighter colors (or even only dip some water), and then dip some dark colors on the tip of the pen, and then expand it with a stroke on the paper. People call this technique "dot dyeing".
In this way, the result is a natural change in light and shade in a stroke. If you paint the petals, first use the pen to dip in pink, and then use the tip of the pen to dip some magenta, and the petals are pointed out from thick to light, fresh and tender.
Hood dyeing
Chinese painting, when coloring, first lay the bottom, then cover the color, this method is called cover dyeing.
Generally speaking, the base color is laid with the rendering method first, and the color should be thicker and thicker, and can be added layer by layer. From deep to light, it is necessary to show its light and shade and level. Apply another green color once or twice as needed, and the color should be thin. The choice of base color and cover color is based on the characteristics of the painted object itself, with the aim of making the two complement each other and produce a thick, vivid, complex and rich color effect.
This dyeing method is far more pure and bright than the new color produced by blending the two colors. If the bottom is paved with flower blue, it can be covered with stone green; the bottom can be covered with stone green; the painting landscape can be dyed with water ink, and the flower blue and ochre can be covered.
Dyeing
In the process of dyeing Chinese paintings, when dyeing one color, dyeing another color while wet, so that the two colors seep into each other in the connected parts, this method is called dyeing.
This method is suitable for dealing with situations in which there are several different colors in the same decency, especially objects with bright colors, thick and faint colors, such as flowers, dresses, and so on. It is characterized by labor saving, live effect and a sense of flow.
One color, preferably dyed at once. The color of this method should be the same color or similar color. For example, if the leaves of the goose come to red, their color is changed from purple to red, and from red to yellow, you can use the method of dyeing, that is, the part that is first dyed purple, then the part that is dyed red, and then the part that is dyed yellow.
When dyeing, use a dry water pen, first vertical and then horizontal, so that the joint part does not show pen marks, and the color halo is more uniform.
